Description

The rough Atlantic is pounding against this wild beach with high cliffs raising on the other side. There is also a small cave/canyon. A perfect spot to while away a few days.

Latest Check-Ins

The access to this place we can't manage with a big rig at this time. A lot of erosion.

Report Check-In

The track to the beach needs repair in one place, it could be a problem when rains come. Otherwise the place is worth a visit.

Report Check-In

Nice, quiet and clean place. Perfect for a beach walk and enjoying the sun and the ocean. Not far from the street, but that is no problem.

Report Check-In

We camped here for 2 nights. We camped in a gully north of the track to the beach, and we didn't think we could be seen from the road. The track to the beach has been somewhat repaired, and would be pass able with care. However camping on the beach you would have tone careful about very high tides. and of it rained and the creek flowed you would be stuck there. We could not find the track mentioned below north of the green sign.

The washed out road has been repaired and the beach is accessible. 4x4 or motorbike definitely needed. Great spot!

Really gorgeous landscape, especially with the cliffs. The original spot is not accessible with a car anymore because of a steep washed out part of the track. But you can camp just alongside the track and beach anyway. There is a bit of rubbish around and it could be dangerous while raining. Depending on the wind you have salt spray. Because there was lots of wind and rain when we were there, we decided not to camp at the beach itself but on the cliffs. Our spot is north of the entry to the beach (after the green sign) and there you can drive almost to the edge of the cliffs. So we were protected from the salt spray and had a great view over the landscape. We stayed for 2 nights and only once a police officer came by to check our passports. But no problem to stay there! Highly recommend!

Report Check-In

Really a very nice place, not to be missed. It is worth to stop here even if only to have a look at this landscape.

Report Check-In

Entrance to the beach:S14.23050, E12.35274.
