he charged 2000 per person for us, still definitely worth it

Report Check-In

Really beautiful place ! The lake was full of water for us, surrounded by white cliff.
We have been guided by the chef to the arches (you have no choice, but it helps the village to buy food). We paid 3000 for two people and for flying our drone.

Report Check-In

Stunning area, beautiful view, very friendly locals. All as written, but no one ask for entry fee.

Report Check-In

Really worth the visit indeed! Even the very short walk through the village is so pleasant.
The double arche itself is beautiful and the views around on the dry lake on one side and on the fields of the village on the other are stunning.
It is just kind of a pity the local guide doesnt speak anything but Portuguese.
Practice your portuguese before coming here and make this visit really special. Or take the benefit of this experience to improve it!
We paid to the soba KZ3,000 for 2 adults and 3 kids (2, 5,8 yo) when he initialement asked for KZ5,000.

Worth the visit if you are in the area :)
Saturday morning, the Soba was here. We paid 1000 pp. Free to walk all around the arcos

Report Check-In

Short walk to the Arch on your right. Beautiful, in and out we spent maybe 30mins. Did not see the Soba so it was free for us, although 1000kw pp seems absolutely fair.

Report Check-In

Still 1000 pp.
Short 15 minutes walk from where you have to park the car, 4km from the main road on an easy track.
We were welcomed by the guide when we parked the car.

The arches are nice but the walk trough the canyon in itself is worth the detour.

Report Check-In

Soba was getting very upset with people driving straight through the village to the arches. We parked and he guided us for a small fee. He was happy but later when other overlanders drove through and bypassed him he went to tell them off. For a small fee (2000kwz) I think it’s best to let him guide you. He’s very friendly but no English.

No lake but great arches and view! Worth a stop. No one asked us for any money. To find the arches, continue driving past this pin and they are on the right side. They are also on Maps.Me.

Report Check-In

Still the same price. We paid 1000 kz pp to the "soba/chief" how will show you around and lead you to the arches. We think its a fair price and didnt try to negotiate... The lake is dry for the past 5 years but its still a lovely place to visit. The drive itself is worth coming here.

Report Check-In

They told us that from 2018 there is no water there. It's a good stop to see the rock formations. There is a guard that ask for some tip to visit the area. You can negotiate also to sleep there.

We camped just to the left of the car parking area. Nice spot, good views and plenty of wood around to make a fire. There are some houses nearby but nobody disturbed us. We paid 2,000 per vehicle (6,000 for 4 people) to camp and to visit the e my Arco. Guys were friendly and also sorted us a crate of beer.

Report Check-In

we paid 3000kz for 2 and the local people accept we do alone
we stay 2hours around the lac
very beautiful

Report Check-In

An amazing drive down to the oasis! The lake wasn’t full but it was very pretty and so many birds. Unfortunately we were not allowed to enter until we’d paid 5000kwz - we were shown around, but after 30 minutes we were told to leave or pay more money to stay longer. We have nothing against the local community benefiting from tourism, it should be like that. The 5000 wasn’t an issue either, but being told we had to pay more or leave was very disappointing! Despite this it’s worth the visit, hopefully your visit is better than ours!

Still 1.000 p.P. but really worth a visit. Path a bit difficult to find. Friendly people.

Report Check-In

Amazing lake and arches. Definitely a must see when in this area. The lake was full of water when we were there. Entrance was 1000 kwanza per person which is more than worth it.

Report Check-In

2 self-proclaimed "arco guardians" stopped us before the gate and directly asked for 2.000 kwanzas. We asked for the entrance tickets, but they woukd denied. Nor is there a sign or official entrance fee evidence. So we took our time to have lunch, and then we discussed again and agreed for 500 kw entrance fee per adult while kids would have free entrance. Once they got the money, they became much more friendly and escorted us up to the impressive arches. Lake was full of water, but signs unauthorise any bath. Worth both the time and the money.

Beautiful Rock Formations. Lake was also dry when we visited. Villagers now have built a Fence with Gate some Meters before the Arches. Some Kids asked for Money although not to serious. We gave them a little bit.

Report Check-In

Some dude extracted our last 420 Kwz and was not happy with this amount. Our friends visited the day before and was not asked for any money!

Report Check-In
