Great campground. Nice and quiet with bathrooms and showers. Good space to walk the dogs and a fenced in dog park. Small playground. Owner regularly does rounds on the property at all times of day. Easy to get to off I-40. We stopped for a quick overnight stay on a cross country trip.
Report Check-Insomeone said this campground was $18 and was on a lake, but she is confused with the Santa Rosa State Park that is outside of town on a Army Corp of Engineers reservoir. totally different place.
Report Check-InBeautiful location, $18 for electricity hookups! Quite and beautiful on lake!
Report Check-InAttendant told me I couldn't stay because I didn't have a self-supported rig (I have a camper van w/o a toilet).
Report Check-InStayed one night passing through. Easy in and out. On site BBQ takeout delivered to your site was convenient and pretty decent. Also looked to fill/sale propane on property as well.
Report Check-InPrice with hookups is 30$ (minus 3$ if you’re with AAA or good sam) 20$ for tent no electric! Campsite have trees, free shower and a pool. Ok for one night, to rest after a long day driving , quiet overall
Report Check-InGreat stopping place but if you come during the Albuquerque Balloon time would recommend calling as this seems to be a busy time for this out of the way place!
