Clear signs saying no overnight parking.

You can overnight at the top car park by the lighthouse

Report Check-In

So although there are no overnight signs, we parked here for the day with the plan to move up to the top car park when it emptied. However another RVer spoke with the restaurant owner who said it was better for us to park down in the lower car park - so we did.
Four other RVs, very quiet all night and didn’t get busy early in the morning which I think wouldn’t have been the case in the top car park. Would recommend!

Report Check-In

There is now a “no overnight parking sign”. On the other hand there is no such sign at the parking just next to the lighthouse.

Report Check-In

Clearly NOP (No Overnight Parking) signposted!

Report Check-In

Daily parking, there are now 'no overnight parking' signs..

Report Check-In

Excellente place pour passer la nuit.Au coucher du soleil tout devient tranquille.

Report Check-In

Big, even parking lot. Stayed one night here, was not to busy. Very quiet and public bathrooms open 9-430pm

Report Check-In

What a fantastic spot! We were able to see the sunset, but more importantly, we got to see the spectacular sunrise when no one else was here. Excellent photo opportunities of the lighthouse and village in the early morning. Overnight, there was only us and a minivan. It was so quiet, except for the waves crashing on shore. Perfect!

Report Check-In

Excellent facility, as described. Quite level and very quiet at night. Parking lot gets really full during the day in high season. Big rigs would need to arrive late and leave early so as to have the room to navigate in and out. We had no trouble with our Class B.

Report Check-In

Nice spot with a large parking area at the visitor center. Wonderful place to watch the sunset and sunrise!

Report Check-In

Place is as described. Many other rigs. Quiet night.

Report Check-In

Spent two separate nights here - very and dark. Vehicles were everything from a Honda car to regular vans to Class Bs with a couple of small Class C's. There were 3 on the first night; 11 on the second. This is a tourist parking lot for Peggy's Point Light during the day and evening, then everyoe leaves except the rigs.

Report Check-In

As described - huge, level, paved lot right near Peggy's Cove. Washrooms nearby are open the same hours as the visitor center, so they close earlier but a short walk down the road are the bathrooms that are open 9am9pm and are fully accessible.

Report Check-In

Definitely the spot!

Stayed here 1 night in our van, along with 6 other rigs.
It’s just a short walk to the lighthouse from this lot!
Washrooms are open 9am-9pm.

There are “no RV parking” signs up in the area by the lighthouse.

Report Check-In

I didn't park in the visitor center parking lot. I went to the lighthouse parking but there was a lot of noises until like 2am. I passed by the visitor center the next morning and many cars were parked there (overnight stay because the visitor center wasn't open yet when I left). It seems like a good option if you want a quiet night.

Report Check-In

Nuit tranquille sur le parking. La route et le parking sont neufs. Il est interdit de dormir sur le parking du haut près du phare. Toilettes neuves et propres ouvertes de 9 à 21h.

Report Check-In

information centre, quiet lot, beautiful ocean view, stayed in motorhome, not bothered. bathrooms here but closed due
to covid.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 10, there was already 2 rigs but very nice for a parking lot. Got up early so we were very lucky to be the only ones on all our pictures 😁

Report Check-In

Seems like this is the spot - spent a quiet night here with one other Class C and a few vans

Report Check-In

Judt go there, the best place to sleep. If you are lucky, you can park near the sea with a little view

Report Check-In

Great spot to park and sleep for the night. The parking lot attached to the visitors center was really quiet. Woke up to the beautiful sunrise

Report Check-In

Decent sized parking lot. Some reasonably flat areas. It was off-season, so not busy.

Report Check-In

Arrived early in the evening so I stayed at the lighthouse carpark till the visitor centre closed to keep a low profile of myself. (Lighthouse was stupidly busy between 6-8pm was hard to get any photos without a photobomb)
Was myself and another at the centre carpark when a third joined early hours of the morning. Came to visit lighthouse in the morning and seemed 2-3 also stayed O.N up there. Least it was a little quieter at 9am. Had a nice sleep felt protected by any winds etc and wasn’t disturbed

Report Check-In

Pulled into an empty parking lot on a Sunday in the high season at about 630 pm. Had the parking lot almost to ourselves. One other small RV. The couple other vehicles that were here departed before 9 pm. Tons of space for our 40’. Nice walk up the road through Peggy’s Cove to the lighthouse. Place to take the dog out and a bench to enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the ocean. Beautiful spot to stop for a night. The breeze off the ocean was perfect. The parking lot started filling up around 9 am and was full by 10 am while we were grabbing a coffee at The Foggy Cafe (?) and a lobster roll at Toms Lobster Shack (5-star lobster rolls and blueberry cake fresh from the oven. Definitely worth a visit!) we got parked in and had to work to get our rig out of a tight spot. We couldn’t believe how fast the lot filled up. The travel information centre opens at 9 am.

Report Check-In

we were told that camping is not allowed

Report Check-In

Great spot. Quiet, clean, level and wifi. Visitor centre is closed and opens May 15. Will definitely come back.

Report Check-In

Much nicer than the spot by the lighthouse. Fewer people and level parking. Intermittent wifi from the visitor center. Short walk to the lighthouse. Almost skipped the area due the number of tourists we expected to be there. But there were almost no people at sunset and nobody at sunrise...it got busy around 10am. Beautiful landscape and well worth the visit if you can avoid the tour buses...

Report Check-In

This spot was amazing. You can't get a better spot in a prettier location. Hold on to your hats though. It was extremely windy and rocked the Casita for much of the night. We arrived at sunset and left before they opened. You can even catch wifi if you are close enough to the Visitor's center.

Report Check-In

Short walk to lighthouse. Town is a tourist trap. Great views and food nearby. Restrooms close at night.
