Latest Check-Ins

We stayed here after doing white water rafting with the Nile River Explorers - which was awesome. Camping was included in the price we paid for rafting ($120).
The campsite was fine, quite cramped, not a very level site.
Nice showers and toilets.

Great spot on the Nile. Good vibe. Slide into the Nile and do the rafting. Good ablutions and restaurant and bar available. Flat spots for RRT and tents. Dishwashing available.

Report Check-In

Nice camp with a great view on the Nile. If you book your rafting tour here, you can also enjoy the large slide into the Nile and sometimes use one of their freestyle canoes.

Nice campsite on a green lawn overlooking the Nile river. Electricity close by. Decent food and nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Hot showers when we were there. Met some very nice people from the local community in the street just outside the campsite. We bought good food (fresh vegetables/chipati/yoghurt/beer/water) there.

Camping on green lawn with view to the Nile. Electricity available from the close by washing area. Shower / toilet good, but only cold shower when I was there. Camping $ 7,-. Nice bar and restaurant, decent food on reasonable prices. Good WiFi at the bar.

We went to camp here and asked about the price. We were told $20 pppn including supper and breakfast. we said we didn't need the food thank you what is the price for just camping. That is the only package they offered so we didnt stay. It appears camping is off their chosen accommodation.

The facilities are very good. Hot shower, good wifi, shelters with electricity, sinks and running water. The food is reasonably priced and on a Monday night we enjoyed a 2 for 1 burger special. We stayed at both NRE and the place next door Nile River Camp. Both have lovely views but Nile River Explorers seems to be a younger crowd, louder and bit busier. The manager Billy organised an auto-electrician to meet us at the camping for work to be done.

I stayed there two nights. The view is great and the facilities too. But they played loud music until 1am. Not a good camping of you are tired and want to sleep.

Nice camp at the Nile. Still 7$pppn, good and reasonable priced restaurant. We did the white water rafting with Nile explorers and it was awesome. Be prepared for a lot of young people partying on the weekends.

Report Check-In

Really nice place, I prefer it to Nile River Camp.

Nice campsite with a good view. $7 ppn. Good restaurant. Gets a bit busy when the overland trucks pull in. The South African manager helped me find good mechanics at good prices for some car repairs.
