Description

Grassy sites on the river, sites have power and Braai areas. Power is additional. There is a dishes area big enough to do laundry, hot water and a shelter for when it rains. The bar seems like an expat hangout, there is a local bar across the road so camping is NOT quiet. We paid 80Pula per person per night, power is an additional 30 per day its 110 a person including electricity or not

Report Check-In

We went here as we wanted to stay for a night but no one around, gates closed. Seems that they are not operating any longer or not during rainy season/covid related.

Report Check-In

very nice campsite with grass and trees for shade. good restaurant for breakfast, lunch TVand dinner. you can use the SPA for a relaxing massage

Report Check-In

Friendly staff, paid 550 pula for a double room. Bar was extremely loud though, with a (very) drunk expat crowd at night. Maybe we were unlucky, but we didn’t want to stay an extra night.

Report Check-In

Close to the road so a bit noisy - lots of dogs in the surroundings so we heard them a lot during the night. It cost us 110 pppn including electricity. How water available outside the ablution facility and for showers too (heating on demand on each shower so you can put the temperature to what you want and it takes like 2-3 seconds to reach).
Wifi near the bar, and very clean facilities. Sandy so gets very dusty but otherwise we enjoyed staying there.

Report Check-In

Approx 10 pitches on mainly dusty ground (pitches 1-3 on some grass). Immersion heater system now with the showers so we always had warm water. Each pitch has fire area and electric hook up. No free standing taps but one hose area near the ablutions block. Really nice bar area, great steak and veggie specials. Friendly staff. Small problem with noise as there is a bar opposite which played music between approx 9 and 11pm. Went back for a second night. Nice atmosphere.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite, from one to three on gras, ablutions need TLC urgent but was functional. Nice bar and good food, friendly staff and secure at night.

Report Check-In

Nice gates spot on the river with a good restaurant. We ended up camping here for 2 nights, and booked our Okavango River Delta Mokoro overnight trip with them, which is HIGHLY recommended. During our trip they allowed us to keep our car in their lot and was safe.

The abolutions were not the cleanest, but the showers were nice and they did have a qater tap and sink where you can do dishes and fill water tanks. There was also a bbq and electric plug near our campsite.

Camping Price: 110 pula ppn

Report Check-In

Nice place with a great bar, helpful and quick staff, reasonable prices for good food and good feel, a busy bar even on a Monday but I liked this camp best out of the other camps nearby, nice to meet some people and chat about the next adventure, river views for most sites. P110 pppn

Report Check-In

Stayed for 2 nights. Only campers there so plenty of space! Really nice bar and restaurant area next to river. Good food. 110 pppn including power. Thursday night was quiet but Friday night campsite noisy from Lodge bar and other place nearby. If I didn't have kids with I'd be at bar too so didn't bother me, just stuck headphones on! Ablutions fine. Some hot water. WiFi ok, better in morning.

Report Check-In

Great place to camp in Maun. The ablutions are a bit outdated. If you wait long enough you’ll get hot water. The bar and restaurant are great with good wifi.

Report Check-In

Great bar and restaurant, has an good backpackers feel to it. Food was good, people very friendly. Okovango trip a bit overpriced but good. Campsite was good with nice showers.

Report Check-In

Beautiful river view , fare prices, clean rooms and a lovely campsite . Just out of Maun to avoid the big traffic downtown

Report Check-In

Very nice campground along the delta river.... nice froc sound at night
Good food and frendly staf and owner

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 3 nights in a room. 😀 Great bar, mokoro trip was fantastic. Food at the bar was consistently good. Most pricy meal at P85. Seems good value to us. On the river, friendly and nice atmosphere.

Report Check-In

Campsite and ablutions are good. The bar gets quite busy in the evening. The food is bad. But the location is very nice. We booked a boat tour to the chief Island there and it was a fascinating experience with a very competent and nice guide.
