Mulanje Golf Club | Informal Campsite

This is a good place for a roof or ground tent. I used the lawn in front of the club house. Behind the club is a swimming pool that is clean enough to use. But the showers had either no water or a dribble of cold water.

Expect caddies to sit and watch you all day while they are waiting for golfers, and 'guides' offering to take you up the mountain. If you want a guide, go to the tourist info by the roundabout in town and ask for Kingsley: he is a brilliant guide and very good company. Check the route carefully in advance. It can be tough climbing, especially on the way down.

Good food, great swimming pool, two new safari tents available to hire plus lots of parking available.
A new climbing wall built inside the clubhouse.

Richard and his team are so friendly. Very warm welcome! You can park wherever you want. The toilets and showes are inside the club house, there is nice bar, Pizzas and other food. We liked it here.

We arrived and the Golf Club was closed . We could camp but had to use some outside very dodgy showers.The normal ablutions is inside. The club was only closed for the day. Nice big area for camping. We did not stay.

Richard is friendly. had a nice spot under a tree. showers and toilets were clean. price was 7 dollars pppn.

A nice place to stay at in Mulanje. The manager Richards is very friendly and speaks good English. There is electricity, Richard will help with an extension cable. Nice hot showers! $7pppn.

They let you camp on the grass next to club house. Nice place when you had a long day (at the border...)

nice & even place on a green meadow with big pool which was 2016 out of order. Nice people and good kitchen!
