If you are looking for a beautiful, well kept, quiet place to camp, this is it! Sandy has done a magnificent job creating a camping park infrastructure with electricity, hot showers, wifi, and anything else to make your stay comfortable. The grounds are stunning; there are over 250 bougainvilleas! The owner, Sandy, will go out of his way to make your stay pleasant. He also has a wealth of information about all things Mexico, so be sure to ask your questions and get some advice.

It is heaven. The beach is just a few steps away from the RV park. It is 8 miles long, and you will have it all for yourself. The sunsets are particularly beautiful here. The nights are quiet. There are hot showers and very clean washrooms. And please, play with Jojo, the most playful and charming dog ever.

This is an awesome stop to make. I highly recommend! The host is very accommodating and speaks perfect English and Spanish. My spouse injured his foot and it became infected. The host, Sandy, went to town and picked up antibiotics for him. We went for 2 nights and ended up staying 5 nights! Wi-Fi in the common area. Very clean bathrooms. Hot shower and a washing machine available for use. Boondocking sites and full hook up sites. Awesome sunsets and a nice steady breeze. A short walk down to a huge private beach with lots of baby turtles! Don’t skip this stay. Also the best price for a stay we have found yet.

Located along the Pacific coastline, Rancho Bugambilias RV Park offered me an unparalleled experience of hospitality and scenic beauty. The warmth of Sandy is matched only by the breathtaking view of the beach. The attention to detail in creating a safe and comfortable environment for RV and Camping enthusiasts, coupled with the beautiful ocean vista, makes this park an absolute gem. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation or even have some home office work as I did 😎😉

A beautiful and special stop. If you are looking for a little piece of paradise in Mexico, this is it. You can see the ocean from the park and a beautiful, empty beach with some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen is just a short walk away. Sandy is a wonderful, kind hearted host. Don't hesitate, this is the place you are looking for.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night. The owner Sandy is a native English speaker and very accommodating, invited me for a home cooked dinner on the patio at sunset with some of the other campers. Camping 300/night, 50/load for washing machine with line drying. Facilities are clean and tidy. The water heater had just broken so no hot showers. As instructed by the sign, if the gate is closed, honk and someone will come open it…might take a little while. A short walk through coconut palms leads to the beach. Saw a tortuga (sea turtle) come in to lay its eggs. The beach is beautiful and quiet. This RV park is a special restful place and I look forward to coming back again.

Report Check-In

This place is an absolute gem and highly recommended. Empty beach, constant breeze, all amenities available, lovely owners, common area for hanging out with other campers. I love that the electric is metered, so you only pay for what you actually use. Keeps the price reasonable at 300 pesos per night.

Report Check-In

Amongst the beautiful Buganvilias you will find this quaint R.V. Park. Located on the Ranch you will find all the services you need - water, power, dump - right at your site. Shower, bathrooms, wash station along with a washer and a clothes line are all centrally located - all clean. A short walk through the lime trees on one side and the coconut trees, you will find a beautiful beach where you can swim or even fish. I don't guarantee that you'll catch anything *lol* but it's a great way to spend some hours. Love watching the sunset ? ... you're in the right place - I'll even loan you my lawn chair and space but you need to bring your own camera :-) If you don't know, Rancho B, was severely hit by the earthquake that rumbled through here Sept 2022 and if you're one of those that believe in supporting local - then this is the place. You can't get any more local than living in this area for 30 years. Come stay for a day, a month or 6 months ( I'm here for 5 more months) We have Pizza Sundays here . We gather at the patio and Sandy and Elia have those pizzas flying out of the kitchen - it's a change for some of us that cook all week - a nice break. Groceries - you can get your basics at La Placita but if you need to shop for much more - Tecoman has a Bodega (similar to Walmart/Costco) or you can go to Colima which is about 2 hours one way, So stop in - come for a beer and stay awhile. So those wondering about cost - approximately $20.00 Canadian per night, $15.00 U.S. per night - but they only take cash pesos here :-) In my travels, I have spent 2x or 3x that amount for the services that they provide. Happy travels !!

Sandy said that we were the first people to arrive on the season. we arrived late in the evening when it was dark. we honk the horn like we were told in the description of the place, and, Sandy appeared, like a beacon in the night, to give us fantastic hospitality after our long and weary day. The place is beautiful, it makes me jealous that it is not mine. thank you for the fantastic place to park our van for the evening. And I wish you a terrific season. You could never go wrong, by stopping in here on your way through!

Report Check-In

We had such an amazing time at Sandys slice of paradise! Planned to stay one night and stayed 5 in the end I guess this tells everything. We're sleeping in a tent and the mountain breeze was just perfect for sleeping. So much cooler at night than the places on the beach we've stayed before. We slept so good. His cute dogs are very well behaved and they barely bark. We went surfing every morning and didn't see another person on the beach which was total paradise. The common area is beautiful with hammocks and the most amazing sunset every night. Sandy told us a lot about Michoacán and showed us his cute little town. On our last night we had a barbecue together. The tortillas, guacamole and beef Elia cooked have been soo delicious!
The price is now 150 pesos per person, because everything gets more expensive. For us this was really fair for what you get. Thank you so much for everything Sandy 😊

Report Check-In

We haven’t changed prices since 2017 but now we have raised prices to 300 p for the first two people and 100 p per additional person plus cost of electric consumed

It’s rainy season and we still have people stopping by. We are open all year and we live here Honk your horn at the gate and we will come open it. If for some reason we don’t please call or WhatsApp me at 313-106-6757. Our restaurant is closed but showers and restrooms are available to those who need a place to stop. Access to the beach is available from our quite little slice of paradise.

Sandy and the squad are cool as a cucumber. A true “buena onda” fixture of the area and he’s a DIY surfer w/loads of stories and adventures;)

The ranch is a cool, breezy hilltop partially overlooking ocean w/loads of space and bouganvillas;). Easy entry/exit, all the standard hookups, plenty of space to get in and turn around.

You will probably stay longer than you planned;). Disfruta!

Report Check-In

As described. Laid back comfortable with a superb surfing beach. Sandy knows what you need and provides hot showers clean toilets and lots of space. Friendly fogs and space to walk yours. Peaceful and dark at night. Recommended.

Report Check-In

I stayed 3 nights at Sandy's Ranch. It's my 2nd time here and its such a nice place to relax and chill to the sound of the waves. As usual Sandy is a great host with lots of knowledge of the local area. The casitas are coming along well and Sandy has lots of plans for the future development of Buganvillas Ranch. Anyone travelling the coast should plan a stop here. The facilities here are great (hot shower/toilets and washing up area + electricity if you want it for a small fee) and if you have Telcel there's good enough reception for basic internet. Being a resident of Jalisco I'm looking forward to coming back to see the progress. Thanks again Sandy.

Report Check-In

As per the other reviews, this place is pretty great. Hosts are super friendly (and husband is American so English no problem), their dogs are wonderful, and the property is quiet and safe. Bathrooms are clean and functional. The grounds are full of flowers, trees and plants planted by owner. I had 4/5 Telcel that seemed to work just fine. The beach is amazing - wide, deserted, unspoiled with a great break. Our only issue - and it may not bother you - was that the ground is littered with seeds and burs. My dog, with a thick, fine coat, got completely covered in hundreds (literally) of them and became pretty irritated. This won't be a problem for everyone and especially if you don't have a dog like mine this place is great.

We were the only ones there for our over half a week stay and never saw another person on the secluded beach as we tanned the days away. Cell data slow to unusable and they’re not doing the restaurant right now (so no drinking water available) but everything else is as great as all the reviews attest! Clean bathrooms, hot! shower, spaces for hammocks, friendly dogs. Sandy and Elia are working on converting one of the rooms upstairs in their house to an eventual guest room with bed, private shower, and refrigerator as well.

Sandy does it right. Rancho B is my favorite stop so far. Surf out front will give you a taste of what’s around the corner in La Ticla, but being close to an actual town with supplies and being off the beach in the gentle breeze is perfect.

If you want a slice of paradise, come here! It’s literally on a private beach! We watch sunset everyday on the patio, swim in the waves, and awe at this life! Amazing vistas, unspoiled beaches, great restaurants in town, and everything you could ever need. Great place. All the amenities others have described. So nice to have hot showers and to be able to do laundry! The beach is about 8 miles long and we had it mostly to ourselves the whole week. Sandy, the owner is great. Really fun and friendly guy. He does all he can to make your stay enjoyable. If you need supplies he’ll tell you where in the nearby town to go. He’ll even take you there. When the restaurant was open on the weekend, the food was delicious. Very dog friendly.

We came here just to check the beach and stayed 3 days. This place has a great vibe and the owner -Sandy is a really cool guy! There is a little restaurant where you can get traditional homemade dishes made by mexican woman and it is worth the try! The place is very clean, caliente showers, pet friendly and stress free:) You can chill in several hammocks in shade with cool breeze and the ocean view. Beach can be accessed by short private trail leading through coconut palms. There is abandoned black sand beach = no tourists! Sandy took us to the nearby village for a local market, it was great experience:) Be aware of 3 friendly dogs and “goats”:) Worth the stop!

Report Check-In

Prices have increased to 200 pesos per night per spot. There now is a washer to do your laundry for 50 pesos. The restaurant now has authentic Mexican dinners on Friday and Saturday nights followed by a nice bon fire. A pizza oven is now in place and the resturant will start to serve Pizzas and other things in the near future. the entrance has a gate that is unlocked that you pass through but be sure to close it when arriving or leaving due to the free roaming sheep on the ranch

Report Check-In

We stayed here two nights. Had we known just how nice the campground and owner was we would have planned much more time here. The beach is empty and soft sand, there are some waves, but swimming or surfing is an option. The camping is on a hilltop, there is a trail or a graded path to the beach. There are full hook ups or dry camping. It’s about 15 minutes from La Ticla for surfing. La Placita for supplies, fuel and food. It’s a great overlander site. We had no problems with our 32’ motorhome either. Sandy knows the area very well and is willing to share. He has great signage and responds quickly to emails. It’s open year round. We’ll return and stay much longer next time.

Report Check-In

A lovely campground surrounded with beautiful flowers. Nice walk to a great beach with an abundance of birds. Everything we needed was here...electric, water, showers with hot water. The camp sites sit above the beach and the tropical breeze was wonderful. The owner, Sandy is a wonderful host.

Report Check-In

Very friendly and helpful owner Sandy is rebuilding his campground after the lack of tourism along the coast in the last couple of years.
Right now about 2 dozens of spots on a hillside, some with ocean view. Both dry camping (100 Pesos/night) and full hookup available. Good internet and shaded seating area with hammocks. Toilets are clean and the shower is super-hot with great pressure!

He is about to clear and prepare some more ground right on the beach and in future he wants to provide a little shop, restaurant and pool.

Wishing him all the best & success with his RV park!

a senior but nice once you get there. We are only staying one night.
