Yacht Marina with facilities for Overlanders, riverside sites, swimming pool, Toilets, showers and clean drinking water. Restaurant, cosy bar. As of Sept 2019: 10.75 Euros per vehicle per night. included Electricity, WIFI and use swimmingpool. Great location for some R&R after exploring inland Suriname.

We are not the first and will not be the last that stayed here for much longer then anticipated! Quite a gem in this part of the world. Camp on the “parking” right at the river, electricity points available (220 & 110) , drinking water, clean showers and toilets, laundry machine, swimming pool! Nice bar/restaurant where there are always a few hardy travellers to chat with. Cool vibe where overlanders and world sailors come together. Bar closes every night at 10pm, so always a good night sleep. Even when open music is never loud. ATM machine right next door. Multiple supermarkets closeby, other cheaper eateries in the area. Price seems to fluctuate with the exchange rate, but we paid less then 10€/night.

Wonderful people, very warm welcome, and truly relaxed, good food and drinks.
When I arrived there was a water shortage going on and the water was brought in by truck. Consequently the pool wasn't open and I used Micropur for my drinking water.
No breakfast options before 10 am, but you can cook in the parking lot where you camp.
Electricity available for bigger rigs.
Very clean and well kept.
WiFi connection in the lot is average, speed as well.
Muito bom o " astral " desse camping e marina. Aqui chegam viajantes da terra e do mar. O proprietário e demais pessoas são muito legais e atenciosos. Tem todas as facilidades que um campista necessita além do ótimo restaurante, piscina, bar e alguns drinks free . Único inconveniente é a distância da cidade. Tem um por do sol lindo. Ficamos aqui 2 dias e 2 noites
Report Check-InAmazing! One of those places where you want to stay longer. All amenities, swimming pool, electricity, nice bar and restaurant with live concerts, very friendly owner and folks. We paid 11.20 Euros or 302.50 SRDper night. We got a welcome drink (a liter beer) for free and because the washing machine was not spinning we could do laundry for free.

Great place but quite the drive to Paramaribo, so allow plenty of time. Seems management of the restaurant and camping is now all done in the restaurant. €13.50 per night (116 SRD) Make sure to remind them not to lock the toilets at night if you'll need them. Washing machine, place to hang to dry 25SRD. Pool. Couple of shops locally for things you might needt, petrol station and Blue Machine cash point.
Report Check-InAs told before nice and friendly place - guess there are not many places like this in Surinam. Kids from the neighborship come and use the pool. Nettie, who is responsible for the yacht part can assist if you need anything. Restaurant is a different manager (Susan). Internet connection does not work most of the time. We had some quiet nights. Preis 92 SRD/night. Washing machine 20 SRD
Report Check-InGood place and friendly staff. We paid 10.8 € per car and us. Have electricity 110V and 220V in the zone of parking. Drinking water, pool, wifi, bathroom and shower are included in the price.

Report Check-InSandy terrain at the Suriname River; little shadow except near swimming pool and in restaurant. Very well maintained ablutions. Washing machine, 110 and 220 Volt, wifi. Operated by Jelle and Nettie, a friendly and helpful Dutch couple that sailed around the world for many years. The place is frequented by long distance sailors as well as overlanders. The restaurant doubles as pub for the local Dutch colony. Shops and ATM nearby. EUR 8.75 (2 adults, camper).
