Run down old municipal campsite in country area beside river, and near to wetland hiking. Note- maybe this has been repaired? It’s not so bad.

Report Check-InBeautiful carbet, very large in the woods. Far enough from the road to be a very quiet spot. Lots of mosquitoes at night even during the dry season. There is a trail close to the road too. No shadows to hide during the day but in the carbet there is a nice little breeze. We stayed here two nights and except the mosquitoes it was nice.
Report Check-InNot so bad! A large wooden structure with good beams and floor. Perfect to put tents under or hammocks hanging Large, flat parking for multiple rigs. Trash bin. No garbage around. Pit toilet is rough, just a hole in the floor.
Up the road further is a newer wooden cover and trailhead. Could also park/camp there.
