Zimbabwe
Nice little camping area signposted as 'camping, hot showers, backpackers'. On the junction to the botanical gardens. Level grass areas with thatched shelter and bar-b-q stands, firewood available too. Clean toilet/shower block.

This place is officially closed as the property has been sold. Chatting to the ladies who sell embroidery along the road and who stay here I negotiated it to 4USD for the campsite, water in a jerrycan for the toilet and no shower but otherwise it is a nice little campsite and the kids from the families living above the campsite came to say hi. I enjoyed my stay!
Report Check-InThe place burnt down, however we could have stayed, but decided to go to Hivu just 3 km up the road
Report Check-InLovely small campsite near the Botanical gardens. In the process of been done up while we were there but still a wonderful spot. It's a tight squeeze for a big rig like ours but they are pruning trees so will be easier soon. $8 a person
Report Check-InSmall grassy terrain. Well maintained. Wood fire for hot water. No mountain view. Limited dish washing/laundry facility. Electricity intermittent due to load shedding. Campsite entry just before signposted turnoff to botanical gardens. Used to be Ndundu Lodge, but was converted to a backpackers hostel/campground after the lodge burnt down a few years ago.
USD 16 (2 adults, camper)
