Zimbabwe
National Park campsite. Beautiful location near the water falls. Firewood provided.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Access road is in good condition, just the last 100m to the campsite are a bit rocky and a small step requires a bit ground clearance.
Very nice campsite as shown on the pictures.
Pay at the gate, if you stay longer you can pay when exiting.
Erratic econet signal.
Toilets are clean and working.
Shower is inoperative.
Great place (also for bird watching, we saw 3 different kingfishers, turaco, paradise flycatcher…)
Very few visitors during the day.
We hiked to this site and did not stay, but would on another day. Its a lovely spot. Big rig friendly. Shower block looks permanently closed. Toilet block ok.
Report Check-InWow! I can't believe no one put a photo of this place before to show how beautiful it is! We unfortunately didn't camp here because the road was muddy and slippery due to a lot of rain. The beautiful waterfalls can be seen from here and are only a 100mts from the campsite. The stream flows right next to the camping area and umbrella acacia tree makes it simply amazing! I don't know the prices unfortunately. Only "E" internet connection with Econet down here.
Report Check-InBeautiful falls in different levels so if you want to see it all take the path up the mountain close to the info board as you arrive at the campsite, well worth the climb! The campsite is quiet, most probably you are alone here but the showers are hot and toilets ok. Camping is 7 USD pp plus 10 USD for the car to be paid in town at the tourism office
