Small campsite next to lake. Expensive, run down.

Probably give this a pass. We need to be in Tzaneen early so we opted to stay here. said camping would be R120. No power, just grass and bathroom.
in the morning they charged us R120 each plus said we had to pay an additional R120 for having a vehicle.
R360 for a spot on the grass is crazy.
100% not worth it.
Nice and green little camping, but ablutions are in bad conditions. For an overnight stop ok, would not spend more time here
Report Check-InSimple Backpackers with chalets and space to camp down a short but steep track, very green surroundings and shy vervet monkeys during the day and many bushbabies at night, caretaker doesn't speak much English and doesn't have change so come prepared, outdoor showers with farns growing in them, bit rundown but everything works and showers are nice and hot, 85R pp (5,50€)
Report Check-InNice spots, but ablutions and kitchen (for dishes) were a bit run-down
