CORRECTION! After being told what you see below we decided to go check the "new" campsite that was supposed to be "almost ready". Turns out this is NOT the case. There is a building of sorts that is partly an ablution block, with half its roof missing and no water connected. There might be some electricity points and maybe taps but the water here is brackish borehole sourced. Contrary to what we were told initially this campsite is unlikely to be ready for use in "weeks". Several months is the more likely situation. Meanwhile camping with a vehicle next to one of the thatched chalets using its ablutions and power point is fine although one is standing on dirt with only part shade.

As described by others except that Darius the manager tells us that the new campsite is virtually ready for campers and has lots of space, new hot shower ablutions, fire places, electricity and plenty of space. Wifi only at reception. Very friendly staff, peaceful location. Contact Darius on Whatsapp +260 974 189 914.

Very pleasant staff and friendly place to stay while visiting Livingstone.
The campsite is under construction and we stayed near a chalet 10 to use the toilets.
Payed 15 USD pppn.

Lots of mosquitos at the campsite, so manager told us we could stay near the chalets and use the bathroom. He made a special price for a single night on the chalets whixh was great and confortable. For the camping, I had a better experience in Maramba Camping, close to the river where you can see elephants, crocs and hippos.

Nice place to spent a night. Campsite is still under construction but the manager let us stay on the lawn near the chalets. Can use warm shower and toilet at one of the chalets. Staff reallly friendly and we never felt unsafe. In Africa there are a lot of rumors and if you didn't have the experience yourself it just can be jealousy of the neighbours telling a story about a robbery. Its just an other story. Campsite and lodge is completeley fenced. We payed 100 kwacha pppn and therefore is a way better price for a night than the expensive waterfront for almost 30 USD. Dogfriendly also!

A wonderful resort. New Name is "The Royal Sichango Village".
Campground was not yet operating but we got a very comfortable chalet.
We were the only guest and they made us a tasty dinner
European price level.

Oh my the mosquitoes! Couldn’t use the ablution there were so many! The camp otherwise nice and enjoyed the green grass (probably the culprit, at least partially, of the mosquitoes.)
