Latest Check-Ins

We could sleep in our van in front of the gate. Not sure if this is usually ok, or they just forgot about us? You can ask for wifi or whatever you need.
In the morning we left for Quetta, which is a long drive with some bumpy roads in between and chaotic traffic in the end in Quetta. Most of the way we almost had no Levie changes and even drove some parts without any escort totally alone. Towards the end we had many changes but it was mostly smooth.

Report Check-In

Arrived here after drive from Taftan. Quite okay place, we were offered to stay at the room of the chief of police which had a toilet and shower. Used both and it was quite nice. Someone also offered us to use the wifi and it has been the best since long time. Very friendly officers. Prisoners being present is a bit weird but its part of the unique experience I guess!

Report Check-In

levis drive us hier coming from quetta, but our truck cant fit in the gate, they offer us a room, but we say we want sleep in our car, no discussion and they bring us 2 min away to next station, where any sort of vehicles can fit I the yard. friendly levis there too

Report Check-In

the escort drive us directly here from quetta, but our car does not in the gate. So they want us to sleep inside, we refuse because we have dogs with us, and without any discussion they bring us to the next police station just 2 min drive away. enough place for all kind of vehicles.

Report Check-In

We were not allowed to sleep at the station. Went to the hotel and slept in our van in the yard. Safe and we had nice guards. No one asked us for paying diner for guards but next day Levi’s asked us to pay for their fuel because we also had to get diesel. We refused.

Report Check-In

The leader of the Police in dalbandin explained that it is not possible to sleep here anymore after some trouble they had with tourist in the station. They will bring you to hotel in the village which is cheap and you can sleep in your own car/rooftent for 500 rupees. We didn’t have rupees (and rate in the village is really bad) but had 5 euro so we paid that to the owner. Very ok and safe place to sleep with a lots of police around.

Report Check-In

First they brought us directly to the hotel. We didn't even bother to ask how much the parking was as we didn't have rupees anyway. We said we have no money and were told that it is possible to stay for free at the police station. The Levie who brought us here mumbled something like "tourists always say they have to money...", but escorted us to the police station anyway. Unfortunately, we only fitted into the entrance gate and not through it as we were too high. So we had to park in front of the station until 10 pm. Our armed Guard went onto our drivers seat at 9 pm for the next hour because of a sand storm. For the night we could park in the entrance so they could close the gate behind us. But at 5 am we had to get up again to let a police car out. The escort starting here was being the only one during the whole trip that was on time in the morning.

Report Check-In

Levies allowed us to sleep in the police station. They provided us with a little office to stay. There are toilets and there is unpotable water. The officers are very friendly. Not a lot of luxury but it is an incredible experience!

Report Check-In

Safe place in the Levies compound. Ask your Levies to bring you here, instead of the hotel. In our case we just drove on, when they took the turnoff to the hotel. Best to bring food and water, but they also escorted our friend to the market.
Shortly after arrival a greasy guy, without uniform, turned up. He will most likely try to convince you, to stay at the hotel. If you insist, they will let you stay at the police station/Levies headquater

Report Check-In

Ask your levis to sleep at the roof of the police station, it is the safest and interesting place in all Baluchistan.
