Laos
Nice spot at the parking of the falls. Arrive after all the tourist have left and enjoy the rural Laotian people in the attached village. I would recommend to visit the falls early in the morning before it becomes too crowdy.
Pleasant place to overnight.

waterfalls are still here. I went to see the falls as an attraction, didn't spend the night. quite crowded with foreigners, however it's large enough to enjoy. 25k kip to enter. 5k for motorcycle parking.
Report Check-InSlept in the parking lot on the left (take the small road going up on the left before the food stalls), where young people play soccer at night. Even if we parked at the far end, on the vegetation, someone came to collect 10,000 Kip at night. He gave us a receipt and told us we could stay parked the whole day the next morning.
Very calm at night.
There are 3 parking spots. On your left the paid parking. Immediately opposite on the right, is a gravel park amidst the food stalls - not very quiet here but up on the hill there's an empty football field. Free & private. Toilets are among the food stalls down the hill, beside ticket booth - clean & free, we only noticed them the following am! Definitely worth camping up here at night to be the first to arrive at waterfalls in the morning.
