Cleared back country camp site. 4wd is a must to get here. No water, cell service, or facilities. Must bring everything and take your trash with you.

This is one of my favorite views of my favorite lake. Been twice, taken multiple paths to get there, some are rougher than others. Couple of creek crossings. Depending on conditions might be doable without 4x4 HC but would be a rough stressful ride. Budget 30min from main road to get in. Multiple back up spots all along the way to overnight. Keep this one a secret, don’t tell anyone about it!
Report Check-InI believe this is short of the other posts. There is only room for 2 or 3 rigs at most here. Beautiful spot near the to of a mountain. Do not attempt without a very capable 4x4. 1 existing fire ring, you are pretty much camping in the side of the road. After leaving we discovered another road for the first few miles off the highway. If you go in on 51960 you need 4x4, if you go in on D4631 it may not be necessary.
