We paid $15 to sleep at their parking lot with our family (2 adults, 3 children) in our car with rooftent.
Very worthwhile. Amazing to sit and watch the many many birds which are there all the time. We recommend parking up there for the night ($15 for the vehicle incl 2 people) but even if you don't stay there, it's worth visiting ($4pp). Wifi is good, even out in the park-up area. Toilets, electric and water available but no showers. Space for most rig sizes but the very biggest might struggle.
Report Check-InIt's a good place to stay for a night, we paid 15 USD for 2 persons. The garden with the hummingbirds is very beautiful. Flushing toilets and wifi. However, we were not allowed to use the kitchen for cooking and they told us that there are no showers.
The owner is very nice, the lady next morning seemed to be confused however and wanted to charge us again for looking at the hummingbirds.
We did not stay here but spent all morning to see the hummingbirds. We paid USD 4 per person to enter.

Report Check-InDefinitely called El Descanso. Run by the friendly and accommodating Rodney. $15 per night for 2 people. Nice hot showers clean bathrooms, wifi, electric and a fantastic veranda. Easy walk to town and other attractions.
Report Check-InNot to be confused with the Hostal Jardin de los Pájaros down the street (which does not offer camping), this place is called Hostal Jardin el Descanso. Lovely garden, with so many birds! Paid $10 to camp in our van. Has warm showers, wifi, flushing toilets, a kitchen, hammocks and several bird viewing areas next to the garden.
Report Check-InReally cool campsite as the owner has a wide range of hummingbird species in his garden (other birds and animals to be seen around 5 o'clock in the morning as well). When staying in Mindo don't forget to have a look at the Swiss Reposteria in the centre of the town. The most yummy brownies ever!
