Fabulous. We agree with all the positive comments below. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend . And open in low season!

Report Check-In

A slice of beauty in the heart of Zambia

Report Check-In

We stayed two nights over Christmas, the first in our own tent and then moved to one of their tents after getting rained out. The grounds are lovely and very clean, with nice ablutions and a pool. The food in the restaurant was good, and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay when passing through Lusaka!

Report Check-In

As described by others - generally a very nice and well set up camp with nice areas to relax and a clean pool.
Let down by very weak water pressure (and cold water) in the ladies’ showers. Plus the restaurant service was very slow and they actually had very little of what was on the menu.
Still US$12 pppn.
Beware not to turn left out of the gate (even if Google tells you to!) - there is no longer a through road.

Report Check-In

Really nice camp to stay while stopping over in Lusaka. Clean toilets. Donkey boiler for the showers which was hot. Nice restaurant and the camp is quiet. $12 pppn. Google maps may get you lost rather enter from Palabana Road off the T4 and follow the signs.

Report Check-In

Facilities are shocking for the $12 you pay p.person. Ladies showers the water hardly comes out of shower and ice cold even after donkey fire was made. Water at wash basins near camp sites switched off. Disappointed after a long day's drive.

Report Check-In

large place with different pitches, very clean alutions.
great pool and very nice way to hang out during the day.

Unfortunately, we had a loud and continuous sound reinforcement from a religious event in the neighborhood, one month a year (may be every august?) which started at 5:30 a.m. and ends late.
We like African sounds, but that was nothing to feel happy.

Report Check-In

Fine place for a stopover. Our spot had electricity and showers/ablutions were good (not super hot or super cold as previously stated). There were some dogs barking in the background but nothing too serious for us, if this bothers you a lot I don’t know if camping in Africa is for you ;)

Paid 232,5 kwacha pp ($12). Little overpriced but as said good for a stop over. Card payment possible.

Report Check-In

It is a great campsite and well kept. it is just a pity that you have to deal with a horrible road to get there and got yo deal with howling and barking dogs the whole evening.. that happens now twice on our long trip and it spoil the ambiance of the place completely for us.

Report Check-In

Wanted to stay 3 nights, but left after just one. Didn't really get what everyone was raving about. Found it very pricey (12$ p.p non negotiable) for what we got. Showers were scalding hot or freezing cold and not all sites have electricity. It was friday night and locals came to drink beer and swim at the pool in the evening. Ok place for a stopover but overpriced

Report Check-In

Large, shaded campsite just outside the hustle and bustle of Lusaka.

Stocked bar and restaurant on-site, chalets available, wifi in the common areas, and a swimming pool. The ablutions are clean, but the water does take a while to heat up.

We were the only campers there, but there were a few day-visitors by the pool with loud music (the manager told them to turn it down, which they did).

You can hear some noises from the nearby village at night, but only faintly. Otherwise it is a peaceful campsite with a few resident owls.

Electricity and braai areas available at some sites (not all).

12USD pp/pn

Report Check-In

Really enjoyed this camp. Great staff, nice bar and restaurant and pool area. A bit out the city so a lot quieter than the city camps. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS FROM LUSAKA (get up onto the T4 first and take a right onto a dirt road. Note Google has is not up to date in Lusaka and you are quite likely to end up on private roads or dead ends, suggest you ask locals or phone ahead of most places when you’re here to confirm your roads.

Report Check-In

lovley place but might be fully booked after covid
so you might call first. but yeah during covid nice and quite

Report Check-In

We were the only people camping here, nice enough place for a stopover. Don't use Google maps to get here as it will take you through an estate to the end of a road. Lounge area by the pool looks very nice to relax at. Staff lit the communal fire pit for us in the evening.

Report Check-In

Surely upgraded since my last visit in 2019 with many finishing touches, like nice pillows and plants. There is a outside lounge with DSTV and electricity at most of the campsites now. Wifi works well at reception. The only downside are the many roosters around that start at 4.30 but minor detail! Great staff and overall willingness to help where they can! Big bag of laundry was 80kw

Report Check-In

Surprisingly bush-y campsite in the middle of Lusaka suburbs, very quiet at night (owls...) and rural in the mornings and evenings (dogs, cows, roosters). Hot water all day long, and good wifi at the main building. The mentioned road connecting with Leopard's Hill Road is also very convenient. 12 US $ ppn.

Report Check-In

located approximately 10km outside of Lusaka. Its a perfect stop over on your way to Luangwa National Park.Very friendly and helpful staff. The cottages are neat and tidy with a African feel to it. The premises is covered with trees giving it a very natural feel. Definitely the place to stay over when traveling through Lusaka.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with a very nice staff!! Very pleasant discussion all the evening with a Mosi from the bar (K25). Free wifi (fast) and free coffee! Little shop with local clothes. Pizzas are nice! Night USD 12.
Very helpful since we had the clutch changed by someone they know (he fixes their cars) directly at the campsite for a very good price.

!!!!! Do not follow maps.me direction !!! Go to the police check point on the great east road and take the first right (from Lusaka) then it is signed and road is ok.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite 20km outside the hustle and bustle of Lusaka and provided an easy link with Leopard Hill Road towards LZNP. Big spacious campsite with number of stands each with fire pit, braai stand, electricity point and light. Great ablutions and washing area. Firewood and charcoal provided. Restaurant with good menu and well stocked bar. We paid $12pppn, kids under 12 half price.

Report Check-In

About 10 minutes from the main road, zambezi road, only enter from here!
Great place, nice grounds, restaurant, bar, ablution, showers (plenty hooks and bench), toilet, service

Report Check-In

See other descriptions. USD 10 pppn. No annoying dogs when we were there.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite friendly staff, good food. Price is 130 kw pppn. They have brai, power outlets and a light. However when we were there they had at least 15 hours per day power cut, which is not their fault. They run generators for the lodge and bar but this doesn’t serve the campsite. there is free wifi at the bar, slow but ok to catch up with your messages. The only annoying thing is that several dogs were barking all night long. There is a pool to cool down.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet place. Some power plugs now available (when there is no blackout...).

Report Check-In

People Pioneer (precious) where amazing. We had car trouble and out booking was delayed but they did their best to accomdate us and see how they can assist. We will definately stay here again. Food was great!

Report Check-In

Cost is now K127 pppn. Some of the campsites now have lights and power outlets.

Report Check-In

New owners apparently and the place is being renovated, electrical plugs now at all campsites, everything is freshly painted and for a campsite close to the city, shopping needs and airport this is a great deal at kw100 pppn.

Report Check-In

Except for the bumpy ride to get here this is a great campsite to be around Lusaka and the airport. Hot showers, nice clean showers and toilets, slow WiFi, each campsite has a braai and fireplace and nr8 has a plug.

Report Check-In

The forth time we are here, enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, the pool, the most helpful staff and last but not least the excellent cuisine.
But no firewood at the campsi

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights. Great ablutions clean and hot water day and night. Large shady campsite with power points and water. Well lit and nice bar too. Lovely little pool and I would highly recommend a stay here. We stayed two days and it was perfect! 80zk pppn

Report Check-In

Nice shaded camp sites with braais, only camp site 8 has electricity. A good inexpensive (100kwacha p/p) stop over near Lusaka. Only a few sites grass was cut, others had very long grass and weeds but looked like they were busy getting it cut. Friendly staff! They sell wood at reception.

Report Check-In

Nice and quiet with the birds and village sounds instead of a busy city. Wifi works at times although very slow but good place to stay close to town. Nice little pool and area to read and relax, bar and restaurant I have not tried but looks good. Access road is pretty bad but easy does it....Kw100 pppn

Report Check-In

Still good, the access road has deteriorated somewhat, to the point 2wds might find it difficult.
Good clean borehole water.
Quiet both during the day and night.
The restaurant food is good quality but the portion sizes are quite small.
Power is now available on the campsite - there are 2 sockets near site 8.

Report Check-In

Terrible access road, barely manageable with saloon car. Nice campsites as described. Offer also tented chalets, self contained with breakfast... US$180(!) a night...

Report Check-In

Very nice. Quiet, clean, good showers, good restaurant, good wifi, friendly staff, lots of shade.

Report Check-In

Good campsite! We stayed here 2 nights during the weekend and had no noise from any church.
The showers are good and hot. We had dinner one of the nights, that was oke 👌
Comparing with the rest of Zambia 100 kwacha pppn is not that expensive. So we thought it's a good price.

Report Check-In

For us it is a good place to stay when you are in Lusaka. It is a very spacious campsite with a lot of trees so you can find a shady spot. Each spot has a Braaistand but no electricity. I still think 100 Kwacha is ok. They have a nice restaurant and we enjoyed the pizza a lot. No problems with the church next door. Just peace and quiet.

Report Check-In

I liked the camping spots and the restaurant. But the church next door was loud until 2100 on saterday night and started again at 0600 on sunday morning. Don't know about the rest of the week.

Report Check-In

Nice camping but too expensive at 100 kwacha pp for no electricity or water taps. Wifi only worked outside the office.

Report Check-In

Camping area has braai & fire pit & bin under trees. Easy for larger vehicles . Ablutions good with hot water . Whilst we were here it was very busy with a large group. Small swimming pool with No shade or loungers so not used . Nice bar ( beer 2 USD & cider 2.50 USD). Eat in restaurant 1 night , not great & overpriced especially the pizza .camping 10 USD. No electric at campsite or water taps . 1 washing up area next to toilet. Can charge electrical items in bar . Wifi extra.

Report Check-In

Really nice place with big shady campsites. Nice bar area with tea and coffee. Restaurant and pool area with DSTV. Ablutions are nice and clean. Laundry service available, pay by load with proper machine, K80 per full load. Perfect place to stay during your time in Lusaka. Very close to airport, but road being upgraded and is bad.

Report Check-In

Stayed three times here. Nice campsite just outside of Lusaka. Good, clean ablution with plenty of hot water. Nice bar and dinning area, tasty food. Complementry tea and coffee during the day. Friendly staff. Recommend this above Eureka Camp. 100kw pppn

Report Check-In

Still 10 USD pp Camping. Pizza from the Wood oven is nice. The road to Campsite will be tar soon.

Report Check-In

Open sloping terrain for truckcamper, clean ablution, no electricity and water supply. Nice bar area, friendly stuff. The driveway was very rutted..

Report Check-In

Nothing to add
and the restaurant is fantastic.

Report Check-In

Great campsite, with well kept facilities. But if a dirt road ride to get here but not too bad. Well signposted. Nice restaurant and bar, wifi available in a small area but relatively fast. Great staff and friendly. Close to some malls with supermarkets a few km down the road. Price was $10 pppn or 100 Zkw pppn for camping. Great hot showers!!

Report Check-In

Fantastic grassy campsite, better than the other alternatives in Lusaka. Facilities are spotless and clean. No electric at pitches but you can plug in at bar and near the pool area. The owners are extremely welcoming. Bar is expensive but they do offer free wifi. 100kwz

Report Check-In

Very nice grassy and shady campsites with beautiful and clean ablutions, bar+restaurant, good atmosphere and lovely hostess (Sophie). Entrance road was rather bad for last 5km which made a late arrival after dark less pleasant.

Report Check-In

20kms north east of Lusaka. Lovely campsites, bar, pool, new ablutions being built 70KZW.

Report Check-In

Good clean campsite and it has a pool
