Description

The best place to stay while waiting for your car to arrive is Eka Dolli Nubian Guesthouse – it’s slightly out of Aswan on the west bank, but it’s super clean, friendly and cheap. You can get all your meals there, although its a limited menu but they do have booze!

Definitly the best place to stay in Aswan !! 20min from the noisy city center. AMAZING view over the Nile river and the village. The Nubian village with colorful houses and souk is 5min by walk, there are restaurants, bars, take away crepe and pizza and supermarket. We paid via booking 35 dollars for double room included breakfast. The rooms are big and very clean with bathroom, balcony, and AC. Breakfast is huge and delicious, dinner is just amazing ! We would stay here for a month if we could. The staff is lovely and very attentive. Everything about this place is perfect.

No room was available, but they offered us apartments next to the hotel - we could choose from two places for $25 per apartment (negotiated). The apartments are well equipped, there is kitchen, but no stove, one had even washing machine. The wifi did not reach to the apartments, but actually it did not work in Eka dolli either. The food was excellent value. The staff was relaxed, but sometimes difficult to find.

Is a safe place to leave your car but is on the street. very community spirited so felt very safe. room clean. good aircon. good bathrooms. it is a long way out of town. maybe its cos we went at ramadan or maybe because they were mid renervations but staff were not friendly. felt like we were unwelcome guests in their house. they did make us dinner at 9pm but there were no drinks available. wanted to love it but they tried hard to stop us. probably worth a try.

Great spot, so relaxing. Food is good but does get limited after a while. Whilst there is no "secure parking" as such, the area is very safe.
