Description
Really basic campground. Nice surrounding if there is enough water in the lake. Price:20000 Colombia Peso This campground doesn't exist anymore. We were there on 16 July 2014, but there was only a construction side.

Actual Campground is closed and rundown, so we parked directly next to it on the open peninsula for free. We stayed with other overlanders, and we're very happy. Great views of town at night. Noise was not a problem. Felt safe. Easy 10 minute walk into town.

Report Check-InLocated right at the lake with spectacular views of the monolith El Petrol and the village Guatape. Clean toilet and cold shower. Walking distance to the beautiful village of Guatape. Nice managers who keep the park clean. With the car you have to stay on the parking lot in front of the campground. The grounds and playground are also used as a public park. The woman in the blue house did some laundry for us (5000 COP).
We were here over a long weekend's national holiday. It was very crowded and extremely loud (loud music until around 6:00 clock in the morning). During the week we were the only guests.
(Originally 10,000 COP / day plus 300 COP / toilet and 1,000 COP / shower, but we have a weekly fee of 55,000 COP including toilet and shower negotiated)
