Something not right?

Description

Grassy, shady, well maintained place directly at the beach, but with a low fence in between. When we entered we were warned by the manager for background noise of a cotton factory nearby at night, but in practice that wasn't disturbing at all. The three dogs circled around our car much of the time. Place is run by Andre and Pauline, a Duch couple, to to support the orphan care center next door that they run as well.

The Dutch owners Andre and Paulien were 5 weeks (April and May 2017) on holiday, what explained the shortage of attention the last month.

The B&B house had a turnover into a clean, basic but cosy furnished African Roundhouse. Let the shower run for 2 minutes and the water will be likewarm.
Fresh bread and Wifi are available.

At this natural and beautiful lake view spot, you will feel free, safe and welcomed.
Take a break to visit the well-organized nursery school with 85 vulnerable children at FloJa.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, but this place seems to have gone down hill from the previous reviews. The one staff member spoke little English and was not very helpful. The toilet block had no light or toilet paper (or water bucket). I was given access to a room to shower (cold), and was very glad I wasn't sleeping in there. No wifi, no breakfast of any kind, and the supposedly potable water did not look or taste potable.
