Griffin Falls Camp | Established Campground

When you arrive there is just a small clearing with grass on the footrest edge of about 50m diameter. Not really a place that is private for camping . The staff were also not friendly . Did not greet us when we greeted them. The. Last few km’s is also not a good road. We did not want to walk and leave our vehicle unattended. So we had lunch and left .

Nice place in Mabira forest .The camping is very basic but by night is amazing with all the animals there are here.
WE did the walk by our own and It s very easy and you don t get Lost.
the entrance of the forest IS : 20 000pp ( 5 €) and for the camping it s not clear:
they asked for 40 000pp and after talking they accepted 10 000pp.
Make clear the price when you arrive.
WE recommended the place. It s like kakamega forest in Kenia.

10km from the main road which is slippery clay when wet. 35000ush pp. We didn't stay.

great rainforest experience, you sleep directly in the forest, monkeys jumped above our heads the whole day. Basic facilities, only camping, you can book a lot of activities. Very noicy (animals) at night... we loved that spot

Beautiful location and dirt cheap. Only 10 000 UGX for camping and 15 000 UGX to hike to the waterfall. Waterfall not that impressive, but the forest is. Zipsliding which looked like fun is also available at $50. There are only pit toilets and a place to take a bucket shower.

Fee includes park access. At border of forest. Friendly staff, hardly facilities.
