OK place for a stopover. Friends stayed in a double ensuite room and said it was OK although the bed was quite small and they wouldn’t want to stay more than one night! - UGX25,000 pn, room only.
They didn’t have a second room (booked up with UNHCR staff) so we camped in the car park with our rooftent. Didn’t find it too cramped, but we were parked next to the bar so it was noisy until midnight (even on a Monday), and then the staff bus arrived very early and ran the engine for 20 mins next to our tent while staff came out in dribs and drabs, chatting very loudly. Used the restaurant toilets, not great, but no access to showers. Initially they tried to charge us UGX20,000 for this, but we refused to pay and they revised it to 5,000!
Staff very friendly but service lacking - forgot a meal, got drink orders wrong, our bill was wrong, etc! Food was edible but I wouldn’t rush to eat there again (in fact we went elsewhere for breakfast).
