One of the most beautiful places we have ever been! You can stay right in front of the beach under coconut palms. Really romantic place to stay. Watch for mosquitos. The companies offering the Ciudad Perdida trek will pick you up at the hostel.

Latest Check-Ins

This is not a real campsite. Very friendly, but we were offered the restaurant's parking lot and a parking bay in front of the restaurant. Too expensive at 45k pp, we didn't stay.

Report Check-In

Passamos 3 noites aqui. Estrutura e Staff excelentes. Duchas, banheiros, restaurante muito gostoso. Único problema é que não tem energia. Recomendo demais.

Report Check-In

Cadre tres agreable. Mais il n y a plus de camping pour les van au bord de l eau route détruite par les pluies on dort donc sur le parking a l entree. Impossible de se baigner. Prix 40000/pers negocie a 30000 car sur le parking!!

Report Check-In

Don’t think you’re allowed to car-camp near the beach/restaurant anymore, it has a bit of a ditch there and lumpy grass anyway. They told us we could camp in the parking area (about 100m back, no beach view) for 40k pp. The property is beautifully manicured, so it’s still very pretty, but we decided to push on.

Report Check-In

Beautiful camping spot with very friendly staff. They told us to park our camper just behind the beach in a grassy area under the coconut trees. There were a few other guests staying in safari-tents and small bungalows, no other overlanders. The restaurant was open until 7.30 pm (pasta, seafood, hamburgers) and opened the next day at 7 am for breakfast. There’s a 5 minute-walk up to the mirador, with great views of the ocean, and lots of birds around in the morning. You can also walk to the river to see the caimans (don’t get too close to the river!). When we arrived the lady at the reception told us the price was 80.000 cop, but at check-out they charged us only 70.000 cop, for 2 persons in a Landcruiser. The toilets were clean, had seats and toilet paper. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we were there (they said it was temporarily), Claro coverage was there some of the time. We left after one night (to camping Bernabé) only because we needed better internet.

Report Check-In

yes it's high season but 100.00 for a camper and two people is ripp off.
and a very unfriendly lady at the reception to, so we looked around and left the place. 40 km east the camping bernabe is also nice and they charged us 30.00 cop camper 7 meters long and two people.

Report Check-In

Didn’t stay but stopped to check. They asked for 50.000COP/night and that’s for just one person and a car.. the place was obviously empty of any campers.

Report Check-In

Overpriced for what you get... ideed it’s beautiful BUT we payed 60k for two people which was the highest price in colombia and there is no kitchen, no wifi (just at the reception but not at the camp spot), shower with no presure. Bathrooms are clean and the area is well maintained. Don’t miss to go up to the mirador, the view is great.

Report Check-In

Absolutely loved this place, super friendly staff. We have a big rig ( 3,75 high, 2,50 wide, 8 m long) and we had no prob getting in and finding space. Just go slow. We payed 100.000/ 3 adults, 3 kids.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place, very well kept with palm trees and grass directly at the beach. The facilities are also nice.
We enjoyed this place a lot, however we have to say despite the staff which was especially at the reception super rude and unwelcoming to us, we only stayed because it was so nice. However it’s still very expensive! Plus WiFi is only available at the reception or at the small restaurant vs a small contribution on top of the modest 30k pp you’ve already paid a night...
Swimming is forbidden due to strong currents however we had no issues to do a refreshment swim close to the shore :)

Report Check-In

As described, Camping in van/rig on grass under palmtrees or with the tent right on the beach. Whole area is nicea d well kept.
They charge now 30‘000 pp pn which is imo too expensive for what you get. Were able to negotiate it down to 25‘000 pp pn

Report Check-In

Price now $30.000 COP per person, seemed excessive and may explain why the place is generally empty. Lovely spot but there are places just as nice for less, Casagrande for example.

Report Check-In

today they told us that we (2 people) staying in our sprinter camper van have to pay 60.000cop / night.

Report Check-In

Very well kept place. Very expensive! They wanted 30.000 cop per person to stay in the van. Did not feel welcome and left for the camping 5km further the road.

Report Check-In

lovely beach area right on the beach 20 mil for camping Moto parked up in carpark 100 meters away

Report Check-In

We didnt stay here, but went to visit and looked very comfy and nice... much better than Casa Grande.

Report Check-In

Super nice place to camp or just to spent the day. We arrived quite early and just walked in for the day so they didn’t even charge us the daytime use since nobody was there yet.
It seems they have a basic kitchen now to cook as well (not sure since we just chilled there during the day). Very beautiful beach and they have a viewpoint from which you can see the snow covered mountains if you’re lucky with the clouds.
Restaurant seems a bit expensive (15.000 for the menu del dia, without soup or a drink) just bring your own food.

Report Check-In

It’s a very nice place but difficult to swim and we paid 25000 cop by night and by person

Report Check-In

Cost 25,000cop pp. Camping area small for vehicles and area surrounded by hills and jungle so no cooling sea breeze.

Much prefered Camping Castilletes, has massively bigger area to camp and shelters with hammocks when we were there last in 2014.

Report Check-In

this place looked really nice but we decided to check out Casa Grande and ended up staying there. We got a price of 25,000pp.

Report Check-In

The place itself is nice but also a complete rip off and the staff is by far not the nice and welcoming like we are used to in Colombia. Had to pay 30.000 pp to sleep in our van whereas the normal camping price is 20.000. Why? We didn't even get electricity or something. The restaurant is super expensive for what youn get (eg 15000 for a really small portion of fried rice with a couple of slices of carrot inside, really, that was all.). Better try somewhere else. Or try to stay in the public parking lot 15 meters away and just pay for day use of the place (5000 according to the sign, that's what we should have tried we realised when we left..)

Report Check-In

We stayed here for two nights. It definitely feels like a tropical paradise. You can take a short walk to the river nearby to try and catch a sneak peak of some caymans. Showers are lovely but do remember to bring your own toilet paper.

Report Check-In

These are the Caribbean beaches you dream about! We are not heading up to Central America, so for us this is easily the best beach we've seen during our 18 months in south America (though the swimming is better over at Tolu). Great facilities. Do at least 1 night here. Gorgeous. 20k pppn. We parked near the restaurant and ran a cable for electricity.

Report Check-In

its a place to stay longer

Report Check-In

We were here just after New Years during the peak of the busy season. Place was very full, and no room to negotiate price (20k per person, per night). Well set up campsite with restaurant and juice bar. We'll set up campsite. And even though was busy, it was quite. Can walk around point to left of beach to find ok surf break and beach that leads in to the northern most point of Tayrona. Only thingnegative thing: no toilet paper in the bathrooms.

Report Check-In

20k pppn. Nice place to chill out and more relaxed than Palomino.

Report Check-In

Very, very nice beach camping spot. Super friendly staff, clean facilities. (Restrooms and showers) electricity near by. No wifi. Only min from Tyrona National Park. Great place!

Report Check-In

Superbe camping sous les cocotiers 20000col/p, très belle plage

Report Check-In

Camping right on the beach in the shade of coco trees! Extremely friendly staff, very quiet and relaxing. All amnesties are available (no wifi). Stayed there 3 nights instead of one originally!!

Report Check-In

Price now 20,000/person. Nice place.

Report Check-In

Nice place close to the beach. Beach is not for swimming (strong current and waves). Not a lot of space for vehicles and too many coconuts.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place. We stayed for one week.

Report Check-In

Very very busy when we were there but it was a holiday weekend. Same price. Restaurant decent. Note: One big rig was parked the upper parking lot and was broken into during the day while we were there even though they said there was a guard watching. Don't leave rig unattended in that area.

Report Check-In

We loved this place. Beautiful, peaceful and very welcoming owners who helped us plan our route through Colombia. No problem with falling coconuts as others said. Checked in for 2 days and stayed for a week! Hard to leave!!! No internet but Claro SIM cards work fine.

Report Check-In

Wonderful campsite close to the beach. Much better than the other ones in this area. Really quite and friendly stuff. The serve meals and tasty fresh fish in their restaurant. There is enough space to avoid falling coconuts damaging your car. They even help you to find a safe spot. The beach is beautiful and tayrona is just around the corner. You can see the snow capped mountains of sierra nevada from the mirador. I loved this spot. Definitely recommended.

tres chouette camping au bord de l'eau, mais sous des cocotiers. attention aux chutes de cocos!
toilttes, douches froides, cuisine extérieure... resto et bar à jugos

18 000 /pers/nuit

nice clean place. not very much space for RV,s. too many coconut trees with too many nuts. very, very dangerous! our friends lost there windscreen !

Report Check-In

Beach-front camping under coconut trees. Can't swim here, plus there are lots of bugs and falling coconuts. However, it is a quiet and clean place to camp. Paid 30,000 pesos.
