Description
After a long day starting with lots of rain and the traffic jams in Istanbul this place feels like an oasis. Among fields, surrounded by a green hedge, close to the highway (but not hearing it), big terrain with mowed green grass and trees. Hot showers (4) and clean toilets. No wifi. We paid 4 Euro pp + 5 Euro for our car, say 45-50 Tl. OK its on the high side, but what choice do we have around Istanbul! Nice welcoming owner.

When we arrived, we were told that the campsite is closed—temporarily? forever? We were directed to a nearby campsite—Dharma Karavan Kamp, 5.4km, which appears to be mostly longterm caravans—friendly staff and clean facilities—ok for a night, 250TL for a couple in a pop top, electricity 3TL/kw hour?
Report Check-InVery friendly owner, seems to be closed! Ring the Bell! He showed up, we are the only guests, cleaned showers and toilets. Very nice and silent!
Report Check-InGood place to stay. Shower are hot(let it run for 5min). Paid 59TRY. He ask 6€ extra for power, but my batteries are full.

Good camping on shady grass. V quiet during our 3 days. Easy access after you get off of (being finalized) toll road—I think an off ramp has been eliminated going east.
Izmet—super friendly, no English, though.
Great campsite with large grassy area and electricity at every site. Cold showers.
There is even a helipad!

Report Check-InBig caravan campground. Nice grassy parking, bathroom/showers were clean but no hot water. No internet.
