Description
Addition to the previous check-in: it is an established campground with facilities. There were at least 50 cars with tents when we were there. Large area to pitch your tent. There is also a RAMP to check your vehicle.

No real camping but allowed to park under trees on river bank (quite popular amongst overlanders). Bar and restaurant. Access to shower and toilet. Cost:CFA4000

What a nice place! View to the Gambia river and the hippo family living in the area. Many birds and monkeys around. A bit pricy but well worth it. Very good dinner at the restaurant (you really get a lot) and very friendly staff.

This place has a nice view on the Gambia river. Saw lots of monkeys and hippo too. Manager is friendly. Could use shower and toilet in one of the huts. Slept in our car for 5.000CFA pp without diner (including diner price would be 11.000CFA pp)
Report Check-InPlace is ok. We paid 20.000 for 2 Pers, Camping & Dinner.
As our car has only 2 seats, we booked a game drive here: 2 pers, car, driver, guide, park fees, total 90.000.

Only visitor there. Payed 4000 pppn and 1000pppn tax, so 10000cfa. Very nice place at the gambia River. Would come again. But they try to sell you there meals. Just stick with no.

Report Check-InWanted to camp with normal tent, didnt allowed ot because it was to "dangerouse". Took a room for two nights. 25000.- for one night incl. dinner and breaktfast.
Good place to meet people and connect to visit the nationalparc.
Already in the middle of nowhere with a lot of animals around.
Wanted to do a small boattrip in the morning but the engine stopped after 5 min.
Food was okey.
The Place was very nice. They let us stay under big Trees near the River. We paid 10000 CFA for the Night and use the Shower. This is OK but not very Cheap what they offer for. Here it es possible to stay with our Dog without a problem. The only really Bad thing was the Lunch next Day. They Charged us 4000 CFA for some French fries...! You can stay there but don't use the Restaurant!
Report Check-InReally nice place to camp with your truck under big trees above the river. You can see monkeys, baboons and hippos if you’re lucky as we were. Not to mention many colourful and interesting birds. Access to toilet and shower and water pumped directly from the river. 4000cfa each plus 4000cfa each to eat in the restaurant which was for us obligatory. So 16000cfa a day for camping and a meal. The food is really not great at all. Big cold beer 2000cfa. Kind of expensive but worth it for the great setting and animal watching.

They offer boat tours with hippo spotting, but the ones who went didn't see anything. We could only have cold showers.
As said above. Although eating in restaurant is basically mandatory and all together they ask 22.000 franc for 2 people incl camping (and tax). Way too expensive for the very simple food they provided. The location is nice with great view of the river watching monkeys and birds.
