Free camp sites within a few hundred meters of the parking lot. Beautiful site with river and creek access.

Nice location and near the Trailhead. But unless you have a tent you are camping right off the busy gravel road.
Report Check-InMost dispersed sites on this road are walk-in sites meant for tent campers. Some of the parking lots for these areas are big enough for a camper van and/or car but not meant for 5th wheels, motor home, etc. We stayed a night in one such lot without any issues. There was a pit toilet just down the road from us at Hyalite Creek Trailhead.
Report Check-In7 Designated Free Campsites along this road. They are all walk in campsites near the creek. But if you have a van you can still park and sleep in your van as long as you claim the parking spot for that campsite. There are also 2 back in free campsite near Palisade Falls trailhead just before the bridge. There are fire rings.
