Description
Wasn't actually camping as lodge changing management. We parked next to the river and used the shower and toilet in one of the chalets. Very quiet with only +- 400 hippos in the river chatting! Cost:ZKW40

This camp is closed. David the friendly manager explained that the camp has been closed for a year. Camping is only at the community camp just before the gate about 15kms from here or 7km from the northern gate.
Report Check-InCampsite in the Luambe NP. Manny Hippos in front of the Campsite. 20 USD pp. pn. is fare over priced for what you get. Free firewood, no grass and open air Shower.
Report Check-InThe lodge will be reopened 2016, campsite is open and run by a German couple. Good ablutions, running water/sink + fireplace at site, no power, no (official) Internet - we were allowed to check our email. A LOT OF HIPPOS, you could hear AND smell them ;) 15 USD pPpN
