Very friendly hosts! Gorgeous house with rooms overlooking large garden. Can camp either in the garden or erect rooftop tent in carpark. Bar and restaurant reasonably priced. cold shower. Flushing toilets. 60Zk pp

We stayed in our rooftent and enjoyed the beautiful scent of the coffee roastery next to us 😊 Nice rooms are abailable as well and camping in the lovely garden is also possible.

Report Check-InWorn down place, the owners are not interested, the food was minimal, although you get everything in Kasama (very nice Town, very friendly people) The Museum at Mbala is absolutely worthwhile!
Report Check-InWe didn't camp here as of your tents are on your vehicle, you can only camp in the car park. However, you should stay here. The rooms are reasonable and the home cooked meals are delicious and inexpensive!
Report Check-InVery nice, little guest house. A bit bigger room 435 Kwacha. Cleaning daily. Restaurant was also OK. Nice garden to sit and relax. WiFi worked pretty well, you could get some work done. 3 friendly, sweet little doggies. :) Friendly service, too. Great place for a night or two. The best place in town, we believe.

The only backpackers in Kasama. Restaurant is good but very slow. There are some bats roosting in tall bamboo in the garden.
Tall vehicles and big rigs will not fit here, branch over gates is 3m high. Owner directed us to his sons house (the golf house on Google Maps) but 100 kwacha pppn to stay on a slanted driveway is too steep! There is nowhere else in Kasama to camp unfortunately.
Report Check-InReally great place to stop over, we stayed in our roof tent in the car park which was absolutely fine- power to plug in fridges and clean toilets next to the parking. Warm showers inside. Good food, cold beers and the bats are INCREDIBLE! Kw50pp camping. Delicious egg& bacon sandwiches and home made chicken pie for take away!
Report Check-In75 pppn now for camping in parking lot. Not really nice for camping (unless you pitch your tent in the nice garden). WiFi didn’t work. Good ablutions, nice terrace and garden. Nice place but not good for Overlanders who sleep in or on top of their car... it’s just a parking lot.

They also have a cottage with 1 double bed, 2 singles and a bunk bed for 295kwacha + 85 for every extra person.
We asked and they said no breakfast included.
Ewart has been incredibly helpful to us, getting our truck under the flowering tree over his entrance and getting my wife to hospital on a Saturday night.
The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable with fan, mosquito nets, TV and fridge. WiFi works well.

beauftiful Garden with fruit bats. 5 friendly dogs around. all in a secure area of town. you can pitch tent in garden or roof top tent on parking lot for 50 Kw. p.p. Rooms from 200 breakfast incl. Very good chef cooks meals for you. WiFi fast. Power for car available in parking lot.

Report Check-InNice guesthouse with very relaxed flair in quiet area of Kasama. We camped in the car park with toilets, hot shower inside, nice garden, plenty of books on Africa as well as TV and DVDs in the living room, many friendly dogs, simple meals for 60-75Zk. They also produce their own coffee which you can buy at better rates than at Shoprite. 60Zk pp (5,50€)
