Nice lodge and campground overlooking one of the crater lakes (obstructed view). Good proximity to Kibale Forest and Bigodi Swamp (15-20 minute drive) and Fort Portal (25 min). Flat camp spots both on the higher side of the hill and in the gardens below. There are shelters that you can access for cooking but these are shared with semi permanent pitched tents that guides and drivers sleep in. Toilets (long drop) and hot showers— though the staff may guide you to the bar’s toilet since it’s a flush. Friendly staff, helped us source a local mechanic when needed— though, if your car drives, just take it to St Joseph’s just south of fort portal (find it on iOverlander).

Beautiful view over teaplantations and lake, very good restaurant with 3-course meal for 40.000 ugx. Not much space to camp, only one small piece of flatland. Good wifi and electricity.

Nice place with some level spots and a banda to relax on the couches, ok-ish wifi and warm clean showers, nice place overall although you camp next to the parking so with others around it might get noisy and cars pulling in and out all the time.
One of the owners however is named Vicky/Victor and he is to be looked out for, he sells land in the area which he will punt to you but is not a trust worthy person as he drives up prices to make his commissions and is not honest at all so he put me off to stay and not to support this family business and the dishonest ways they seem to have behind a seemingly nice place. He unfortunately is known as someone with mental health issues in the area so after initially befriending him I had to cut all ties as he started harassing me while staying at Art in the Jungle.

Beautifully located campsite at the chimpanzee forest guesthouse. Lots of space to put our RTT. Some spots bit uneven, but still enough places to pick. Clean ablutions, cold showers. Great views from restaurant. Very good three course dinner for Ush40.000 per person. We stayed one night before chimp tracking, it was a 20 minute drive to the start on a very good road. Very recommendable if you go for chimp tracking.

35 000 ush pp. Nice garden and grass and view but we stayed at the end only 1 night. Camera's everywhere looking down on you. One level spot for vehicle. Power plug in point, by banda. Water full of dirt. Found a tadpole that came out of the tap with the dirt. Vehicles idling early in the morning for 45min. Location good for if you go Chimpanzee tracking. People friendly.

An almost perfect place for camping. Beautiful view to mountains and tea plantation, lots of birds and hornbills flying around, hot showers, clean toilets. Price is higher than most simple campsites in the region (10USD ppn). There's free wifi, good mobile internet with MTN, a restaurant (beer costs 7k). Only problem during my stay was that it was too noisy as they were cutting grass and trees during the day. But at least they respected clients sleep and only started doing that after 8am.

10$pp. nice large grassy terrasses. banda with table and chairs. open hot showers. very clean. nice view.

Very nice place. Plenty of space for camping. Hot showers made from a heated barrel. Restaurant and bar on-site. Only 1 minute from the NP headquarter and possibly the closest camp to the starting point for chimpanzee tracking (although there's one right there). It has two tents to rent for 20 USD the night. They have beds with mattress in it.
The Guesthouse and Lodges are fairly expensive but are very well built.

Internet in the restaurant.

It true, the site is really clean and in a nice surrounding. The food is ok (don‘t take avocado salad, it’s just an avocado with nothing else 😄 the soup was nice!). But when you are in this region, please go to kluges guest farm. It’s so much better and nicer! We made the mistake after two nights at kluges to move to this place (to see the crater lakes etc). But we regret it now 😉

Everthing as discriped, beautiful and very clean campground on flat gras. We had to pay 10 USD pppn, but still OK. They washed our clothes and we had a 3 round candle light Dinner for just 40.000, thats pretty fair. You dont have to pay National Park entrance to go there! highly recommend...

Incredible how some people can whine over a few dollars on here... Yes, camping is 10 USD and yes, the restaurant is not ‘cheap’. But remember this is a more upmarket lodge in a beautifully manicured garden and tea plantation plus very clean toilets and a hot shower. A 3 course dinner is 40k Ush and the food is okay (but not great). Also, if you ask kindly and it’s quiet, they’ll let you camp for 25k Ush, like they did with me.

Everything as described.

Big compound with camping. Only one flat place for the car with rooftop tent. You can use the flush toilets near the restaurant and they warm the showers for the night. The ask $10 for a night but wen you pay in shilling it is 25.000!
We only took thee at the restaurant, what we thought was very expensive. (10.000 shilling for 2 thee)
