Egypt
Run by a rather fascinating, but strict and eccentric Muslim named Nasser. Elias Camp’s big advantage is that it has a nice pool and rooftop terrace. Nasser showed us a very scenic 25km drive around Dakhla Oasis which passed a man made lake, interesting farms of date palms, olives and wheat and some old tombs of the long departed.

It’s a relaxing place to stay. There is a pool for women and a pool for man. Most of the time local people will swim here. We asked if we can spend the night in our rooftent. He took us to his home. Where we spend the night in our rooftent in his front garden between a few houses. He has also a camp and a warm water pool there.
Nasser is very friendly and helpfull. He’s also a natural healer so he helped us with problems in our mussels by giving a message. He brings us to a garage to fix something for our car. He also translate and get a good price for fixing the car.
We paid for the pool and to stay one night £E140. We spend an other night at his house. It was a wonderfull en nice experience! He’s not a typical Muslim, but sometimes more western. We really enjoyed it here with him!
