Paraguay
it's the place where you can park your motorhome. When you are in the park, at the museum take on your right diection casa lopez, and you'll don't drive in all the park with your truck to find the way..😉 So great and free place in the middle of this park and in town. You are near the guard park who are here 24/24. You have toilets, shower, electricity, light, water tape and BBQ.... And all the crew are really nice (May 2018)
6000 G entrance fee per car (older entry from sept 2017)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice place, seems safe. GPS Data seem wrong. A guy with a motorbike came and took us to -25.253106, -57.569301
Report Check-InLocal com muitos recursos e de pessoal com ótima recepção. Passamos uma noite apenas. Bem amplo e apropriado para motorhomes.
Report Check-InDue to security reasons the guards did send us away from the indicated location and asked us to park behind Casa Lopez (see street sign)
Report Check-InI put this new point in this park because it's the place where you can park your motorhome.

We were requested by the armed guards to park our camper near their house. The banos were clean. We could get power connection. The guards were very helpful. No payment was asked.
Report Check-InYet a good place to spend the night. Enter before 7pm. There is a new campground, as the old is worn out. Cold shower, no wifi, parrillas available. Very busy with workers after 6am.
Nice environment, but non usable facilities. Crowded during the day, but very quiet at night. There was nobody there to charge us anything, but the sign said 6000 G for a car, nothing for persons.
Some local told us afterwards that this is a dangerous neighborhood, but we felt safe when we were here.
Designated camping are in the botanical garden next to the zoo. Nice park environment. Durty cold shower at camping area, reasonably new and clean toilets near the zoo entrance, sandy water. Cheap. Easy bus connection to the city, but about an hour needed for the trip. PYG 6,000 (2 adults, camper).
Report Check-Inif you are looking for a place close to town and you are not so fussy, maybe this one is o.k. for you. We payed 6000G / 1$ entree fee and drove a bit zigzag to the fare end of the park. Here is a fenced areal from the national police ( we have seen them only when we arrived) and it is also the camping areal. All is very basic. If you are independent then it should be o.k. The park gate is open between 5 am and 8 pm. The park itself is nice.
Report Check-InThere is indeed a camping area but it is very neglected! Toilets and showers are disgusting!! Looks like haven't been cleaned in months.
Huge amounts of mosquitos, in the 5 minutes we stayed to check out the place we were bitten all over :-S
Only place we are aware of you can camp in Ascuncion. Separate area in the gardens. Was very busy when we arrived, late Sunday afternoon but soon quietened down when it got dark. No real facilities. We did not pay anything but think you may have to pay an entry fee to take your vehicle into the grounds. When we arrived the pay booth was closed.
