Latest Check-Ins

The last 10 km of the road are 4x4 only, took us 70 minutes going slow, with a few water crossings and sketchy bridges. Not to big rigs!

The camping spot on iOverlander is also the trailhead with parking and toilets.

For the hike we needed 1:10 h one way and about the same for the way back. It's not a walk in the park so bring proper shoes.

We arrived at 5pm and we had the place for ourselves.

Awesome! Beautiful drive, beautiful campsite, beautiful hike in. Shallow gravel bottom hot pools. Wish we brought our small shovel to dig the pool deeper but still enjoyed a nice long evening soak.

Very nice thermals, with pools and small waterfalls. Nice hiking in the area around the river and lake as well.

Very busy and crowded on weekends during the high season. Try to get there early or late in the day.

Amazing! So nice to find natural hot pools that haven't been ruined by too much human intervention.. the top pool is the one to go for, it's the hottest and the water has far less sediment from fallen leaves than the lower pools

Fantastic termas, only thing to add is that if you don't want to cross the river with your vehicle, you can park it off to the side just before the crossing. It only adds 10-15 minutes to the existing 1 to 1 1/2 hr walk. But, you have to cross the chilly river on foot!

We went here twice!

The road to the camping libre is fun too:) (in a Defender)

Very nice hot termas for free.
Natural cascade in the middle of the forest. 10 km 4WD track to the campsite and than 4 km (1h) walking track to the termas.

Good place to check out. Very pretty hike and drive. Road is not horrible but high clearance would help a lot.

Beautiful free hot springs. A 4-5k hike from the Libre Campsite on Lago Queñi. The road in is not great but not awful with a well travel river crossing. I recommend starting with the lower pools and working your way to the waterfall at the top as after that nothing compares. Brought our dog on the hike with us, there are no signs saying not to.
