I was allowed to stay in the parking lot as it was already late in the day. I had dinner on the terrace with fabulous views!
I managed to get up with my trailer but needed 4x4 and locks . So not recommend for larger rigs anyway.
the place has not more camping area, nu bathroom or electricity use, it's an hotel and restaurant
Report Check-InCalm spot in the parking lot of the Rancho. From the Garden you have a fantastic view to the sea. We payed 15$ for overnight and could use restrooms and cold shower at the restaurant. Is is all clean and nice.
Report Check-InRoad from route 34 to ranchos is difficult, very steep dirt and rock. Just made it in 2wd van. So worth it. Not a cheap stay. You will not be able to resist dinner and drinks in such a nice spot. Amazing view. Camped in car park $10 pp charge.
Report Check-InStunning views! The friendly staff let us camp here for $5,000 colones pp. Fell asleep to the sound of waves, howler monkeys, and tropical birds. Hammocks overlooking playa Hermosa and the whales tail, amazing sunsets! Safe spot to leave your things :)
Report Check-InA lucky find. Look for the camping sign on the main street just outside Uvita. Beautiful view, lots of toucans. Brand new bathrooms and covered area to cook under. Very friendly owners who will made food in their restaurant on request.
