They raised the price to 15$ per car. You camp in the parking lot what is not so pretty. But you can use the nice swimingpool and restrooms there. We chilled the whole afternoon in the pool area. At the pool there is also an outdoor shower.

We paid 5500C for two. Adrian helped us park in the corner. Con: we were partially under a tree and the next day was partly cloudy so not great for solar panels. Pool was clean and refreshing. Wi-Fi okay in lot, better by pool. Very good movistar reception. Bano by the pool clean, with seats and TP. Did not eat at restaurant.

Amazing how welcoming this Best Western is towards overlanders. We had a supercomfortable stay at the carpark, could use all facilities, the gym and the pool, good WiFi, clean toilets, relaxed restaurant, superfriendly staff and quiet at night. Highly recommend for only 10 dollars for two and our van.

Just ate dinner at the restaurant- great value. Steak and veggies in tons and tons of butter and garlic. $5k. Yum yum. Cold beer too. Where are all the other overlanders? Company would be nice... I'm getting too much 'me' time and I'm slowly going insane.

Report Check-In

It had been a while since someone was here, so the new guy (a year and a half on the front desk) was unfamiliar with overland squatting. He called the manager, and she was a little freaked out, so called the big man. All was o.k. a nice spot in the corner of the secured parking area, and access to the restaurant, pool, and wifi. $10 USD... which is what... $30 Canadian ??!? The front desk dude Pablo, was very friendly and professional despite the odd request to camp in the lot. It's a rarity to find someone who's not dismissive of overlanders- that's been my experience- especially in Costa Rica. 'No' seems to be the default setting, sadly. When you are welcomed- it's with open arms. Pure Vida.

Nice quiet, mostly flat lot. Charged us $10 USD with wify and access to bathroom. restaurant on site with reasonable prices.

Report Check-In

We parked in the fairly flat lot for $10.00 US (5,000 colones). This included access to the pool and 24 hours restrooms but no shower. Lot was clean and quiet and we parked near the open air reception desk for extra security. Park closer to the front for a flatter spot. Photo shows the rig and 24 hour staffed reception desk.
