Très bien pour la nuit ,juste les hélicoptères la journée,mais pratique pour rester près du village

Report Check-In

great spot close to town. easy to get into with a few deep ruts but easy to get around. DUSTY with lots of traffic. stayed 8 days exploring Grand Canyon park area. Stock up prior to arrival! prices in Tusayan are crazy!

Report Check-In

Easy to find, plenty of spread out spaces and privacy (if that’s what you’re wanting). Very few cars in sight and few came in /out. Quiet at night yet noisy in the morning due to a number of helicopters flying overhead around 8-9am. There’s man made designated spots to pull into and easy to spot with pre built fire pits.
T-mobile and Verizon both had signal.
We learned online to dig a hole and bury poop but TAKE toilet paper with you. Hope you enjoy and remember to leave it better than you found it! :)

Report Check-In

Nice spot for the night, other campers around, but far enough where you can’t see each other. Some occasional road noise. Arrived after 5 left before 9. RTT camper. 3 bars LTE Verizon coverage

Report Check-In

Super easy road coming in, any vehicle can make it. Lots of spots spread out. Close to AZ Trail. Decent amount of traffic on the main road so grab one of the spots further back. Helicopter tours every hour on the hour from about 9am to 3pm, fly right over this area.

We did have a guy in a minivan come and park right in our campsite to hike the AZ trail as we were near a connector, so if you want a little privacy check the trails maps before establishing camp.

2-3 bars LTE Verizon with we boost. Dismal signal on tmobile.

Report Check-In

Great and quiet place to stay. The helicopters stop flying in the evening and it gets quiet. Had a elk hanging out right next to us at around 2am. Plenty of fallen trees for fire wood.

Report Check-In

strong Verizon signal at this location.
very close to town. nice fire ring and shade. kinda close to the road, so anyone can park here in a car or van.

Report Check-In

great spot close to the park entrance with easy access and plenty of spots with firepits to choose from. i will say if you have small pets or kids you may want to stay closer to the main road, or keep a very close eye. i went deeper in to find a more private spot and there was a lot of coyote movement and howling at night, when i woke up i found a lot of bones and scattered deer limbs in the area. would definitely have been in trouble if i’d had my dog with me.

Report Check-In

Great spot w plenty of open spaces. T Mobile service is fantastic.

Report Check-In

This was a great, easy spot nestled in the woods. Flat, easy to. 5 minute drive to restaurants. Rating this an 8/10.

Report Check-In

Forest road 302. excellent spot, isolated but walking distance to the shuttle into park. Dusty road. Stay on west side of the road.

Report Check-In

forest service road 302. Its a little noisy with helicopters flying overhead all the time, but otherwise very nice site. Good Verizon access.

Report Check-In

Campsite on Long Jim Loop south of the Grand Canyon. Private and level with a fire ring. Very good site.

Report Check-In

Great location with 4 bars of Verizon 4g LTE. As others noted, helicopter noise is annoying, but it's not the end if the world. Seems to be most high during morning and evening (this may vary based on the season and number of tours going out).

Report Check-In

As described before, great place to stay overnight when visiting the National Park. You can almost touch the helicopters passing by!! ;)

Report Check-In

Spent 2 nights there. Quiet and nice. We did it with a 2W with snow it was ok.

Report Check-In

Spot sympa, vous pouvez faire du feu, beaucoup de petits endroits vous avez le choix. Pour le bruit des hélicoptères, ça commence à 9h du matin donc aucun problème. En général un voyageur se lève tôt ;)

Report Check-In

Nice forest, many spots open while we were here, helipad nearby so it can be noisy during the day but we were in the park anyway. Quiet at night.

Report Check-In

great spot. Wi-Fi can be found at mcdonalds and the Internet cafe across the street from McDonald's.

as a warning, this whole town can only get satellite Internet, if you are a content creator. It might get a little frustrating.

The sites are very nice, bit of traffic at night. woke up before the helicopters started.

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 nights. Nice, quiet spots in the forest with firepits. 10 mins driving to Grand Canyon entrance. Only downside was the loud helicopters flying overhead in the morning.

Report Check-In

as described.Vert quiet and a little bit muddy by rainy day.

Report Check-In

Several good spots with fire rings. Close to Tusayan so expect some traffic and aircraft noise but the setting in this tall pine forest is peaceful. Sad that people leave so much garbage behind. Some people had also recently cut healthy pines and tried, unsuccessfully, to burn them. Came out with two shopping bags full of garbage from past users. If we all do that, we can enhance the experience of nature of the next campers.

Report Check-In

perfect and quiet place! recommendable

Report Check-In

Free. A grate place to overnight, place to fire, near Tusayan. A bealtiful night with lots of stars. No amenities.

Report Check-In

cool place next to the grand canyon
would be perfect without the tons of trash, glass and other senseless stuff laying around

Report Check-In

Super Great Place to stay. Close to NP, quiet until 8 a.m., then the scenic flight helicopters fly directly over you. Great tip, Thanks a Lot!!! Fireplaces, close to tusiyan which has all necessary facilities.
