Basic campsite run by DOC. Not a huge space, but beautiful views over the lake. Fishing allowed with a licence, check regs in town at visitors center. Cold in the winter. $6 per person.

No longer a camp. The closest DOC camp to Milford Sound is Cascade a bit further towards TeAnau. Lots of DOC camps along the Milford road now $13 / pp. Barry, the DOC guy checks late evening and at the crack of dawn to make sure you paid. Cascade is a HUGE camp with toilets and sinks.
