Description

Beautiful place a few steps from the ocean. Popular with campervan folks. Access by a sandy road, two wheel drive without issues. Better suited for smaller vehicles. No facilities, but there is a restaurant nearby and an official campsite not far from here.

Beautiful location. Perfect for staying hidden, listening to the ocean and stargazing. Café and restaurant close by also.

They would film here if were doing an advert on wild camping. Sound of the waves, dunes for miles, enormous clean beach and loads of space for campers. There must be more than 30 RVs here and there is loads of room in the sand dunes. Bizarrely there are some abandoned ones to the side of the big carpark. Perhaps even there are simply neglected. Beach bar out of a movie but don’t order cocktails with your own credit card but superboc is 1.50€. Considering the venue, that’s good. 2 highly rated big cafe/restaurants 200m from the Atlantic waves. The soft sands extend as far as you can see (Lisbon Peninsula to the north and Sims Estuary to the south. We were daft enough to get stuck in the soft but only because were not paying attention and were in a two wheel van ambitiously trying to get too close to the sea. Sea view only with 4by4 or in the unromantic carpark late at night

We have Bern here just the night bevor hurricane Leslie hit the coast. Very nice place. Enjoy the view, sunset and the bar with good WiFi.

Camped here last night, there's some campervans around, some look they've been here for a long time, no one seems to bother. Try just to be a bit hidden on the trees close to the beach, just in case ;) We camped with a car and a tent, we slept well. The beach is amazing, water was crystal clear and amazing, it's a very long beach and no one was around, we even did nudism :) just be careful with our trash as always! safe travels
