Camping and/or overnight stays in District of Summerland Parks, Beaches and attached parking lots or on residential streets are not permitted. New signage has been installed indicating this in popular areas for overlanding including this location.

Great spot. Park by the dog beach that seems to be the least intrusive area. Many other vans and campers. Had a lady this AM complain to us. Probably an outlier. If you come just be respectful and clean so we can continue to use this spot!

A warden came at the morning and told us overnight is not possible. He tooks pictures of all the rv present this morning. Looks like RVs are not so welcoming anymore... Too bad because the spot is great.

Great spot - easy to find right near dog park with lots of other vans and campers. Quiet - clean toilets, great view, picnic tables, lovely beach just perfect

I’m parked adjacent the dog park. Nice locals say travelers parking overnight hasn’t been a problem. Please keep it that way!

Stayed 2 nights near the dog beach where there are no signs. We had no problems, the locals are super nice and the view is absolutely wonderful. Perfect place, please keep it clean :)

parking along the road, not much traffic, next to beach, picknic tables and fire pit, pet area on beach.

nice rest area, little playa, lot of space. I slept here 3 nights without problems. of course road is close so we ear the cars during the night.

If you enter the park from the main entrance (coming from Summerland), you will see signs that say "no overnight parking / park closes from 11pm-6am".

just keep driving to the right and you will find a strip of parking lots on the street right next to a sandy beach.
it is located between the waterpark and the dog beach. over there, there are NO SIGNS.
stayed there one night without a problem. a couple of other vehicles were there overnight. street is completely quiet at night.

Many spots for wild camping along lake. Playgrounds, dog park, water park, beach volleyball court, picnic tables and grassy fields. Keep it clean and let’s keep this place alive!
