Water is NON-POTABLE, go to the info Center 200m away for safe water.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Even the information center has no drinking water. Look for the waste dump point to get fresh water.
Report Check-InEmployee actually told us the water is "not for drinking, it's for washing". We filled up anyway since it's been used for years and there is not much in the area. He gave us a faucet but it didn't help to turn the tap on, still needed tools.
Report Check-InWe asked for the key for the water to the employee, he couldn’t find it, told me I could use it if I could open it. We opened it with our own tools, but we had a lot of trouble closing it afterwards. Employee said he would try to find the key.
You can open/close the water with a flat screwdriver or pliers
We stop today but we didn't fill up our water tank because last week, someone stole the faucet !
Report Check-InNous nous sommes arrêtés aujourd'hui mais n'avons pas pu remplir notre réservoir. On nous a expliqué que la semaine dernière quelqu'un avait volé le robinet !
Report Check-Infilled up water here! pulled right up to the front of the building. there is a sign marking where to fill up.
Report Check-InFresh water still available at this time of the year, which is amazing! We used our own hose to fill up our tank.
Report Check-InEasy access. Fast fill. Only downside is the hose is cut off at the end so you cannot filter the water. But it tasted fine to me.
Report Check-InGreat place for cheap gas and to sleep overnight! Sign says 8h max but staff said to not bother with it, we could stay as long as needed! Super friendly! Not to much noise even being close to hwy with trucks in te big parking behind! Didn’t use amenities, only gas.
Report Check-InThis is just a Gas station. Showers etc. are located at the OTHER Husky Station a few hundred meters east on the same road.
Report Check-InAnother Husky Truck stop / Travel center
This places are amazing!
Located from BC (Chilliwack) to Ontario (Kingston) close to the main Highways.
Recognizable by a huuuge Canadian Flag next to it.
Shop (with toilets, laundromat and showers) is open 24/7.
Also have a restaurant and usually free wifi (not always tho).
Before you use the showers: go to the counter, sign up for a husky rewards card, download the app and subscribe to the newsletter.
You instantly get 500 rewards points only for that!
A shower (if you bring your own towl) is only 50 points (or ~8$)!
(If you need a towel it is 100 points or ~10$).
The showers are AMAZING!
Super clean, you have no time limit and get a whole private bathroom. (You can even bring your phone and powerbank in to charge meanwhile).
Laundry is usually coin system and around 1,25$ for washing and 1,25$ for dryer (1h).
I would not recommend to sleep here (as it gets very loud next to the street and because some truckers leave their engine running the whole night).
Big rigs would fit, places are meant for the truckers tho!! No problem for small vehicles.
Report Check-InPerfect place to fill water tank - sign drinking water. There is a house approx. 3 Meters long so if you park close you can fill your tank directly.
Report Check-InWater is accessible direct on commerce wall next to the Air compressor
