This is on a rough old logging trail, still used by hunters (we guess), not far from lolo lake rec site. The past logging provides clearing that overlook the clearwater vally, plenty of moose, deer and occasional bear tracks around. Fire pit setup for you. Less mosquitoes than else where due to breeze and cool altitude. Wood everywhere, unwanted by the loggers. To access: get on the lolo lake road (unpaved) and turn off left up a dirt path with cleared trees near to these coords. The path is marked by big stones that wear blocking it but have long since been moved. Follow path for 5 to 10mins depending on conditions. 4x4 only and good ground clearance and tires needed. You can go further up to the trail to top of peak if you have a ATV / motorbike to camp on top grass area. Please be safe, this is a overlanders spot, not a campervan or RV site. Enjoy!

The spot at the end of the road is a bit overgrown. Went to the end and turned around to come to a level spot about 200m before the end of the road with nicer views. Road was easily passable with our 2” lifted 2wd Transit with KO2’s.
Report Check-InAccess was blocked by a fallen tree.
I removed it partly with the winch so that a 2.1 m width vehicle can access.
No snow.
Secluded. Almost clean.
No service.
View good, but no space for tents. But it's in the middle of nowhere so you are absolutely alone there
