Really good campsite with 3 luxury tents available.
If the gate is locked and you see a car inside - just go arround the fence and yell.
Hot showers, no wifi.
The owner offered us pasta and vegetables because there is no shop in this village. All for free! Also offered us meat etc., but we didn‘t need it.
If you text her in advance, she would cook a dinner.
Got some dessert - very good!

Tapwater is good to drink. Quality was good - you don‘t need to filter it. She has her own boarhole.
Camping with own tent is 150 pppn. Drinks were cheap.

It is right next to the Kalahari Highway (campsite about 30-40m from road) so very noisy whenever a truck or vehicles goes past.
If going to Nam, carry on to the rest camp just past the border, quieter, cheaper, better facilities. If exhausted and almost dark it’s ok, but definitely not a place to aim for as a trip highlight.

A great stop over Restcamp right next to the main road, - Riana, who mages the camp is super friendly and assist where possible. We have ordered dinner and were pleasantly surprised as the food was first class, - Really special!! The Camp sites are motorhome friendly. The bathrooms were clean. The only downfall is the busy main road but later at night it got quite and we had a good rest. We will make use of Jungle Light Restcamp again and most definitely order dinner,

Ok. This is one of our favourite places. Very homely and friendly. The owner is super sweet and cooked us a massive spaghetti bolognaise with salad and garlic bread. We camped with tents but they have other accommodation on site. Cold drinks, easy going place. Home from home. Loved it. Highly recommend if you are a normal overlander and not one of these people who criticise if things aren’t 5 stars. Proper overlanders place.

Very nice owner ! We received a super nice welcome from Rihanna, who cooks also a delicious buffet meal that you eat together with the rest of the clients, as a big family !

Great campsite! the lady who runs it wasn't there as she was in South Africa so no food unfortunately. The kitchen is equipped so it is easy to cook and the gas station store that is 1 KM away closes at around 5. If you're cycling towards Namibia border you can also probably stay at the next town Karakubis. When I cycled by I saw a Restaurant/Store and also plenty of homes where you can ask to camp. Happy cycling!

Stayed one night. Lovely camping site and Riana very helpful. Wood available to buy and very convenient ablution blocks. Many birds due to blossoming Acacia trees.

A gem of a place.
Very thick grassed area to pitch a tent which was one of the softest grasses in Africa.
Hot showers with great pressure and clean toilets.
The lady owner offered to cook dinner for 50 pula and as I’m cycling I thought that was a nice gesture.
The food was absolutely delicious and she is a very lovely lady.
Still 150 pula and great hospitality.
If your cycling don’t miss it.😁
