Camping very close to the beautiful waterfall, no facilities but nice cleared area, Negotiate at the gate for the price, no security needed, ignore all further demands for money at the falls themselves, bit of a hassle in the beginning but still absolutely worthwhile! We paid 1000CFA/night (1,52€) on top of the entry fee of 4500CFA (6,86€)
Camping on nice beach, very close to waterfalls, good ablutions, friendly staff. We were allowed to stay for free on their beach and just pay for whatever we consumed at the bar/restaurant but there is no guarantee that they will always allow camping.
You can camp on a concreted area overlooking the lake. Just talk to the friendly soldiers and give them a copy of your passport. Note that the lake is known to be the deadliest one in the world due to an incident of a bubble of CO² erupting from it and killing around 1700 people in 1986. Nowadays the pressure is being released regularly but researchers and the military are still stationed here.
Camping in the quiet green garden of the guesthouse. Access to shower and toilet of the guesthouse till 22 hours. Dirty outside toilet. Close to Congolese, Gabonese and DR Congo embassies. On Sunday evening a French expat drink with campfire is organized
5000 CFA to camp for 2 people. Camped next to the pool. It's a pretty spot on the waterfront with restaurant & bar. Use of the restaurant toilets & we were able to use a shower in a vacant rondavel. Free WiFi also available. Liza & Jason
Expensive and busy hotel, 15000CFA (£18) per room. There are rooms at 5000CFA (£6) per night, but they were all taken. Worth the money as rooms are comfortable, just make sure fan and A/C are working. We had to go to reception to get our water turned on.
Pink building with no signs. Offered rooms with shower only, no toilets. When he showed us the rooms, they looked uncleaned, however he did change the sheets later. We opted for a room to use the shower and camped outside. A room cost 3000CFA (£3.50).
5000 CFA pp for park entry per day (not per 24 hrs). Need a guide 5000 CFA per day and a guard 5000 CFA per day. Car 2000 CFA Camera 2000 CFA. If no space in car the guard and guide will go on a motorbike but they didn't have one at the time so would have charged 10000 CFA. No campsites in the park. Was too pricey for us so not sure if it is worth it or not.
in these NP are Gorillas so it should be possible to see them with a bit of luck. entrance 5000 pp pd car 2000 pd photo 2000 pd guide 5000 pd necessary armed security guy 5000 pd necessary . ...no idea what else they charge for! so prices climbes up and as you need 2 days for a gorilla maybe watch what means doubles the price we decided not to go in.

Place is a bit run down but the rooms are okay and have AC (but only working when there's electricity), bucket shower. Good food (but check the menu and your bill). 10000 CFA.
