Not just a place to stay but also a place to make friends that you will have for a lifetime. This hostel features budget accommodation, including breakfast and dinner. You can attend many activities like kayaking, quad rentals, hiking, toga parties etc. The beach which the Pink Palace is situated is one of the best in Corfu Island and many of the rooms offer an astonishing view.
Nearly in the middle of the little village Katafourko, at the opposite of a little restaurant, follow the sign to the beach. Down at the beach, pass the little bar/kiosk and have a look for a nice, quite place at the beach.
Nice beach area. When you reach the beach and carpark. You will be two beach bars right in front. Turn left and drive to the end of the carpark and you will see a sandy track. Along this there are multiple turn offs onto the beach. Good 4G Vodafone signal.
Rough, stoney area on corner of road. Ok if you sleep in/on your vehicle. Good view of one of the cliff top Monasterys at dawn. Good 4G Vodafone coverage. Road is quiet at night. Not good for pitching tents.
Nice campsite with great views, nice pool and shop. Camping is on gravel areas, but its ok to pitch tents. Hot showers and clean facilities. 4km from Delphi ruins. Or 40min walk from campsite. Good 4g Vodafone coverage.
Best of a bad bunch of campsites around the city. Lots of long term residents here so not very traveller minded. Nice shaded sights with power and water if you need it. Wifi only around reception. Clean showers and toilets. Not too noisy as it has a bit of distance from the main road. Bus (522, 523) to Kifissia metro station, then metro into city. Takes about an 1H 15min 21 euro pn for 1 person, tent and car. So cheaper if you sleep in your vehicle. Supermarkets and backerys near by. Swimming pool on site. But gets very crowd with local kids at the weekend.
Wild camp on hill top next to ruins overlooking Sparta. Sign posted concrete road/track from main road is ok for 2wd but is not suitable for big rigs because of low olive trees and two very sharp turns half way up. Good 4g Vodafone coverage.
There is also a small Chapel here. So Sat night/Sun morning might not be a good time to camp.
Private ground with a huge "for sale" sign on it. Short drive down a gravel road past some farmers. Flat lawn with nice ocean access. Visible from the bay/from boats. More private in the back. 4g signal.
Close to a small road with little traffic. Not visible, quiet space. Even gravel/grass floor. There are beehives around, so expect a farmer every now and then. Empty beer cans indicate that this spot is sometimes used as a local hangout. You will be able to find other places in the area, as well. Good 4g coverage.
It's a street next to the old castle, you can park on the side of the street, there is mostly a free space! At night it can be loud, because there are bars! But if you want to go out in the city, this is the best place to stay! At sunset time you'll have the best view from the top of the stairs! In 5 minutes you are in the city centre!
This is mainly small bungalows place but they have very nice area with grass where you can put up your tent. Beach is like 50m. There is also "municipal" campground down the road but this one looks much better and was 10euros for a bike, tent and one person. The other one was like 14euros. I think that you can also wild camp right next to it without any problems.
Gravel patch in a bend of the road. Very little traffic on the road, especially at night. There is a little noise from the train that passes nearby a few times an hour but other than that it's a very quiet spot.
Nearby campsite is used as a dumping grounds but this little beach is off the road, secluded, plenty of gravel for wet weather (no getting stuck in sand) and a little shrubbery for shade so a good overnighter if you like views & a sunset! No facilities
There's a gravel track that leads up a steep hill overlooking Kavala town. Couple of small flat areas to pull off. Road appears to be largely unused so we had a private, quiet night here with nobody coming by, incredible views, though a little windy at this height with few trees for coverage.
Perfect place to stay in Volos. There are a lot of parking spots in front of the city beach of Volos. At night quiet. With a bike within 10 minutes you can see the whole city. If you walk the way at the water is very beautiful.
Textbook example of a city campingground. Expensive, noisy (right next to a very busy 4 lane road), small places. Toilets and showers are clean though, and the staff friendly. Since there is little or nothing else to be found in the vicinity of Pireaus (for shipping your car to Africa ), this might be your best option.
Few parking spots to pull off in the forest just above the town - shade & picnic benches, a playground and walking tracks. Good for one night, quiet road at night, only 2 cars passed. No facilities other than bins
A small parking at the beach close to the small town of trikeri. Little restaurants are in town! The parking is very calm and nice to swim a bit! Don't try to drive in the city with a camper, very small streets! On the other site of town is an other small parking like this...
It doesn`t matter where you want ot spend the night at Pindus, any place here is more than good, you can be surronded by nature, have a nice views or just park next to the road, nothing and nobody will bother you.
