This is one real campground in Vang Vieng, where you can stay with your car at the garden. Should be possible to park your car there for a while and travel somethere without, too. But your car schold be not to heavy (maybe up to 3,5t) and not to high (around 2,7m max), because you have to cross a bridge to come to Paradise Camping. Around 30.000kip/tent or camper.
pay 10.000kip for your vehicle and you will find a really nice spot, from where you can visit the cave. actually its not allowed to camp there, but if you ask friendly, they let you stay overnight. met some people with a tent who stayed for a couple of days there...
best: you can swim in the river! very cool!
very friendly but always busy owners. in high season they are always fully booked, so make sure that you contact them befor you arrive.even with your mobile home please make a reservation!
with your car you can park in front of the camp. bit far from everything, but you can spend a lot of time in this nice area and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. go climbing or take a bath in the cool river near by a cave.
closed from june to october.
Nice spot at the parking of the falls. Arrive after all the tourist have left and enjoy the rural Laotian people in the attached village. I would recommend to visit the falls early in the morning before it becomes too crowdy.
Pleasant place to overnight.
If you have repairs to be done you can stay at Mike Murphy’s workshop during that time. Clean, high roof, toilet, shower, electricity, wifi. Near the counsular section of the Thai embassy. Entrance through gate of "Specialized Products Import/Export Ltd." opposite Bounnam supermarket.
Lovely place held by a nice French couple. If you want to have a break from the car that's the perfect quiet spot. Parking and access are a bit difficult but our car (6m long, 2m wide and 3,25m height) could fit, go in and out. One spot though
