Community run pitches around the Spitzkoppe mountain with long drop toilets, showers at reception, braai stands but nothing else, a bit like bush camping in a beautiful area. Bring everything you need.

The campsite was abandoned when we were there but it was nevertheless one of our most beautiful bush camps in Namiba, long drop toilet, braai stand, right at the foot of the beautiful crater, hiking path to the top, upper campsite 4×4 only
Well equipped campsite in a private reserve directly at eastern entrance to Etosha NP, great staff, private kitchen and ablutions, pool, free wifi, electricity, expensive but better than inside the park and good for early game viewing, 360N$/night (25€) for two people
Close to, but not inside the fish river canyon national park. Sites have some shade, Braais, light, water taps and several electric outlets. Nice lodge with rooms is part of this place. Has a pool, bar, restaurant, ATM, and gas station. Wifi at the bar is slow, but reliable. Bathrooms in camping area were spotless. 175N$ (2017)
About 10 campsites, near desert horse inn. Nice bathrooms and dishes/laundry area. No electric at sites. One tree per site for shade. All sites have fire rings, water taps, picnic tables, and wind breaks. Internet via satellite at the lodge reception was very reliable when we were there. Restaurant and bar and very basic shop. Pool was under construction at the time of our visit. Lots of hiking trails around, small permit fee to use them. Camping is $N 100 per person.
Campground is run by NWR. Reservations are recommended. Www.nwr.co.na. Typical one shade tree for campsite. Each site has electric, trash cans, water, Braai stand. All on sand. Bar and restaurant and small shop near reception. Small pool. Camping here is inside the national park so you are able to enter to see the dunes before sunrise. Engen garage nearby has pay Internet, gas and better selection of food and supplies. We paid $N330 for two people per night plus N130 per day for park entry.
Power, water, a place to do dishes, ok toilet and shower facilities. They do also have a restaurant and bar, and a nice communal area with a tiny swimming pool. Nice people running the place. No wifi. 180 namibian dollar (ND)
Power, water, braai, nice toilet and shower facilities. There is also a bar and restaurant at the gate and a swimming pool that we never tried. wifi vouchers are available from the shop for 70mb for 50N$ and 150 for 100 N$. 360 namibian dollar (ND) and you have to pay the National Park permit of 170 ND (80 per person and 10 for the vehicle). Normally the National Park permit is valid for one day, but when you camp in the park it is valid for two days. The day you get there and the day you leave the campsite in the National Park.
Braai place and a long drop toilet. Really nice location. 80 ND for the campsite and you have to buy a permit, 40 ND per person and 10 ND for the vehicle, to drive on the road to get there. It is a general permit for all the roads in Namib-Naukluft Park and since you are camping in the park it is valid for two days.
Camping on a large sandy area inside the gate of the hostal. The toilet and shower facilities are not so nice, South American standard with no toilet seat and no toilet paper. Good location in the city center. Desert Sky Backpackers, in the same street as the Youth Hostal does also allow camping for 110 ND per person. They have a nice garden and you can use the kitchen, toilet and shower facilities. No wifi. 40 ND
Camp at the Kunene River in the Marienfluss valley. Nice location at the river. Fire place, nice and basic toilet and shower block. 4 campsites at the edge of the Kunene river, each with an individual fireplace. Warm showers and flushing toilets are also available. The camp also provides ice cold beverages, bags of ice, firewood and Wifi.
On a hill top with nice views above Opowo. Campsite is a little bit away from the Hotel, but you can use the facilities like the swimming pool at the hotel. There is also a restaurant and bar, and wifi in the reception if you pay for it. Nice campsites with grass, braai place, water and power. Toilet and shower block is nice with hot water, and there is also a place to do dishes. 178 ND
Campsite in Etosha National Park with access to pool, restaurant, shop and park office. Campsites are on gravel with private braai, water and power. Toilet and shower block was nice with hot water, and there is also a place to do dishes and laundry. The best thing about Okaukuejo is the water hole that is flood lit at night and you see rhinos. We also stopped at the water hole at lunch and there were the most animals we have ever seen at a water hole. The campsite can get fully booked even outside holiday season.
On a hill top with nice view. Campsites with grass under trees, private braai place, free fire wood and there is power. Water smelled and tasted metallic so we did not fill water here. Ok toilet and shower block with hot water when there is fire under the heater. Place to do dishes. Access to bar and restaurant, and a tiny “swimming” pool. 190 ND
