Backpackers place that let us camp on their grass. Communal kitchen with fridge, free tea and coffee, free wifi, bar, swimming pool and nice toilet and shower facilities. Nice and cozy place with a fire in the evening that has thought about the small details like spare toilet paper so guest can easily find it and enough clean dish towels so people actually clean and dries their dishes. 120 rand

Water, power, braai, a place to do dishes, nice toilet and shower facilities. Sanddrift is the closest campsite to Wolfberg Cracks. To hike through the cracks the permit is 50 ZAR pp, to Wolfberg Arch 100 ZAR pp, to Maltese Cross 60 ZAR pp; 180 rand for a camp site for up to 6 people.
We arrived in the dark and left in the dark, but what we saw of it looked like a nice place. Campsites with braai area, water and your own toilet and shower block with hot water. There was also a place to do dishes. They had a bar and restaurant too, and a swimming pool?? 200 rand
Not the most organized campground, no specific campsites and you just had to find a free area. Water and power points around in the campground, but not enough power points to everyone. Nice toilet and shower block with hot water. A small kitchen to cook and do dishes. Restaurant and a small shop at the reception. There was also a water hole with a shelter where you could sit and watch the animals at the campsite. 136 rand (we were four people sharing a site)
Just outside the Phalaborwa gate into Kruger National Park. Nice campground with braai place, water and power. Really nice toilet and shower block with hot water, a place to do dishes and there was a laundry machine and dryer that you could use for free. 195 rand
Beautiful lodge just 10 km from the Botswana border. Inexpensive for how nice it is. Big rooms with small fridge and coffee and tea facilities. Private veranda at each room looking out over a waterhole. Common braai area. Meals upon request. Wifi is intermittent. There is vodacom cell signal. We paid R350 per person per night.
huge (guarded) campsite located at the sabie river, very nice and clean shower/toilet block, restaurant pub, shop, pool...140 rand pp (low season), no motorcycles, www.merrypebbles.co.za, wifi on campsite
Beautiful location on top of hill. Some renovations in progress when we stayed. 5 grass campsites with electricity, ablutions, big pool. Access around rondavels for bigger rigs tricky. Restaurant, wifi, nice staff. R175 pppn camping.
simple bud nice situated place, good for an overnight stay on the way to the richtersveld park, very windy during the day, a bit run down the campsite has a pool (no water at time of visite), a playground and some huts to rent. the abllutionblock is ok. there is no kitchen or sink. we payed 60 rand/pp and 40 rand for the car.
The campsite is being renovated, there are new power cables going to the site, a new fence and gate with low thatched roof - don't worry they have a section of fence that can be opened to let in taller vehicles if you have 4x4. There is a large grass area and several single camp sites in the trees. The ablutions are in the process of being done up but there is hot and cold running water. What makes this location great is the stream coming down through the gorge behind the camp ground. There are about 10 pools you can swim in and slide down the waterfalls between them, great fun and the Baboons seemed to be amused watching us playing in the water.
