Alder Lake Campsites

Mainly suitable for tent campers although class B can park in the small lot and hike around the lake.

Keep in mind you need to camp at least 100 feet from the water or trail.

Watkins Glen State Park

Your usual state campground. Nice showers and sites.

Stewart Park

Water spigot right next to parking area.

Baseball field

This place is permanently closed.

Wyandot service plaza

Probably the best paid site we’ve visited. Super peaceful as we were the only RV and next to a farm / picnic area. 💯 better than a campground.

Taylor Oil Company

Great specialty shop for propane. Filled my Winnebago’s integrated tank.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel complete with overnight parking and RV/Bus specific parking spaces.

PA Welcome Center

Nice well lit overnight spot. Separate big rig parking as well.

Walmart Parking Lot

This place is permanently closed.

Virginia Welcome Center

There were prostitutes going car to car and people living out of hoarded open U-Haul pull behinds. We decided to leave and go to the Cracker Barrel 10 min north.

Walmart Parking Lot

Overnight parking is not allowed at this location. Walmart employees knocked on every camper at 5:45 am and we’re persistent until people answered and agreed to leave.

Camping World

This camping world location allows overnight parking. Great well lit and recently build facility.

Gander outdoors fort pierce

The spigot specified in this location is non-potable for flush only.

Gander outdoors fort pierce

Updating dump site coordinates to proper spot. Well lit and they are fine with folks coming after hours.

Canoe Creek Service Plaza

We’ll lit and quiet. Nice place to stay overnight especially since the road it’s on very dark and has a lot of animals.

Cracker Barrel

It is the first CB I’ve seen that goes around to check how long you’re staying and see if you’re going to eat inside. Suppose it makes sense to keep order.

Great stay — quiet besides a few generators humming.

Cracker Barrel

We stayed overnight on a Thursday and it was extremely quiet despite the other comments. May depend. Few other vanlifers as well and plenty of parking in the rear.

Cracker Barrel

Beware of end RV/Bus spot. The sprinkler has the hardest water I’ve seen. Wouldn’t even come off the windshield with cleaner. Took the van for a nice scrub after.

Otherwise great spot to overnight.

Cocoa Beach 6th St Parking

Beach lot that permits vehicles free 7pm to 7am

You will have to be up at 7am to pay the meter and it is $3.50 an hour.

This U-Haul location offers propane fills for removable as well as built-in tanks.

Call ahead though since there isn’t a license person there 100% of the time.

Cracker Barrel

Very quiet and comfortable stay + friendly staff.

Anchor RV Storage

$5 to dump including flush and fresh water.

36 Peabody

Paid $20.99 for 24 hours but it was well worth it for a huge empty parking lot to ourselves while being a short walk from all the restaurants and downtown area.

Cracker Barrel

Great overnight spot with RV specific parking spaces.

Sugar Creek Laundry

All around good laundromat that allows you to drive right up with your rig.

Municipal Lot

Municipal lot with free parking and no signs stating otherwise.

Near great coffee shops, restaurants, Walmart museum and the cute town square.

Pretty quiet for a night at Walmart. We parked by the auto center and by far the best area + wifi.

Cracker Barrel

Your standard Cracker Barrel that allows overnight parking.

Don’t forget to get some breakfast as they have great pancakes and impossible sausage. 🙃

Washington Irving Cove South-Corps of Engineers-Keystone lake

Spots do not seem very level. We came on the off season and showers and power were off. Ended up leaving.

Roadside Stop

Rest stop along roadside with picnic table, garbage cans. We didn’t stay over but no signs say otherwise. Not a lot in this area since it’s private ranches.
