As described, the road is bumpy but slow and steady in our motor home and it was fine.
The suggest spot was taken when we got there but 1/2 mile up the road there is more spots. We backed into the first driveway on the left up to some lava rocks in the sand but we realized after that a bit further up the road (the next driveway) there some very large camping spots with fire pits.
Looks like it could a party spot for several rv’s but it was very quiet while we were there.

On April 26/22 most of the forestry f campgrounds were closed.
This one had one loop open but the restrooms and water were still closed.
We were in site 19 right beside the water. Beautiful spot and had the campground all to ourselves.

Great little community park to stay for night. Off the main road, you can still hear the trucks going by slowly but it didn’t bother us.
Some people came and played basketball in the evening but were all finished by 9:30 pm. Then it was quiet.
Lot is large, level and big rig friendly.
There was a semi truck and trailer parked there for night too.

Five bays to wash your RV. Open 24 hours. Coin or credit card to operate. They have vacuums on site too.

Great park to stay the night. It was quiet at night and slept well. I think there were only two of us that spent the night but in the morning the parking filled up quick.
We pulled in after sunset and there were several spots to choose from but our spot sloped a fair bit but we survived.

This family tun business gives exceptional service that I have never seen from a mechanic.
My brakes in our Sprinter overheated coming down a hill and they met me at the casino parking lot to diagnose the problem. This was on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
They ordered the parts required, since it was Easter weekend it took couple days, but it was if they stopped all other work to make sure we were looked after as soon as the parts arrived.
Their price was very fair and they are all about taking care of their customers.

We didn’t stay the night but the clean hot showers are $1 for 6 minutes.
They have propane for loose and fixed tanks. They have diesel and gas.
Good clean potable water for 25 cents a gallon. You tell them how it needed to fill your tanks.
Also a clean laundromat. And a liquor store and small grocery section.
Used to be a KOA.

Inquired on the how much it would be to stay the night in April and it was $68 for a power only site.
A No service site was $38. We said no thank you.

They fill fixed tanks on motor homes as well. They also have diesel, basic groceries and souvenirs.

Really clean and organized laundromat. You can pay by credit card or cash. They have a change machine, vending machine with snacks and drinks and a clean restroom.

This place feels like a campsite with some trees separating the spots compared to the spot we stayed down the road.
There are several spots to camp and most were full while we were here.
Very quiet nights here.
It was very windy the two days we stayed which made it quite dusty with the wind picking up the soft red sand.
It seemed that some of the sites near the river got more dust because they didn’t have the bushes to block the wind.
We would recommend this place.
There’s even a ‘very clean’ porta-potty that one of the full timers pays for and maintains.
Even got a visit from several cows in the morning as they passed through the site.

Update: We were able to get on the first tour of the day after spending the night in their parking lot.
I don’t think they had a cancellation, I think they are all about customer service and customer satisfaction.
$50/person was great value especially compared to the competition.
Our guide was terrific and very knowledgeable.
She took time to show us the best camera settings to capture the best images and also took everyone’s photo.
The slot canyon was stunning!

I highly recommend this company for seeing Antelope Canyon!

They charge $4.05 per person for nice warm unlimited showers.
They also charge $4.95 for sani dump and the potable water is free

This tour company lets you drive your vehicle down to Antelope Canyon unless you have a motor home, then you go in their passenger van.

We did not have a reservation when we arrived in the afternoon but they suggested we come back at 8:30am since they often get cancellations.

I asked if we could spend the night in their parking lot and he said that some people do. They have a gate that they chain up but do not lock. We came back after dark, opened the gate and then closed it behind us.

These people are very chill and very hospitable. So glad we came across this tour company. I hope we can get on one of the tours tomorrow!!

These guys are open 7 days a week and are first come first serve, no appointments. Just passing through and needed my brakes and rotors done on my Sprinter.
He can get 30’ motor homes on his lift.
Very accommodating. Adam is a great guy and the price was reasonable.

Very clean laundromat. Staff on hand to help if needed. Lots of machine and they look new. They also have a variety of sizes of washers including some for a 80lb load. Clean restroom for customers.

Lots of washers and dryers. Some of the super washers (3 loads at a time) are $6.25 and some of them are $5. Regular wash is $3.
As mentioned, it’s located around the corner behind bealls Outlet store in the shopping plaza

Thought I would add couple photos of the sani dump and the potable water stations. The permit that the signs refer to is what they give you for your windshield when you check in.

As mentioned, go into front hotel reception to register for RV parking. $10 for one night, $25 for 3 nights or $59 for one week. Ask for pool pass and you have access to the pool. They have potable water and sani dump also. Lots of RVs here on the night we stayed. In & Out Burgers directly across from the hotel reception. Security is doing regular checks 24 hours. Very quiet. Would recommend.

All the campgrounds at Joshua Tree National Park were full so this was a great option. No issues finding a spot to park. A bit dusty though.
Did not find it very noisy at all. Slept great.

Beautiful spot to camp in the desert with mountains around you.
The road is a bit rough in spots once you are through the gate but it’s not bad.
Only saw one other rv and a renter when we went for a long walk.
Beautiful sunrise and sunset.
Worth the effort to get the permit.

This place was a great find. We found it so quiet and the sunset was so beautiful.
There were several RVs here for night but it’s a very large place so we could be nicely spaced. Didn’t see any garbage where we were!
Just 12 minutes from Picacho State Park where we had hiked earlier.

They filled the mounted tank on our motorhome and they also do loose propane tanks. Good service.

Good people. They’ll fill your loose tanks and your fixed tank on your motor home.

It’s hard to find someone that will work on our Winnebago View exhaust. These guys were terrific. I had an exhaust rattle that they fixed for me at a very reasonable price.

Nice clean smaller campground. Full hook ups for $25 in March. Laundry & showers and good WiFi.
Grocery, bank & dollar store right across the street.

Very nice campground next to the Marion Reservoir. Nice pit toilets but no other amenities. There is a boat launch. Only 2 rv spots the other are tenting only spots.
It’s free during their off season and $10 in season.
Very quiet, lots of birds.

Lots of camping available in March. We had the whole loop to ourselves. Had 30A power and water for free and a sani dump. Lots of waterfront sites. Very happy we found this place.
